Reviews
I gave this game a few hours, and honestly, I came away a bit disappointed. My biggest issue is that it can't seem to decide whether it wants to be a realistic survival game or a more casual one. On one hand, by default you can't even starve to death, your character has unlimited stamina for running, and you can carry an absurd amount of items with no weight limit. On the other hand, building even a simple cabin requires hauling so many logs that it turns into a repetitive grind. Another thing that stood out to me is the enemy pacing. Maybe nostalgia is affecting my memory, but in the first *The Forest* I remember not encountering my first cannibal until a few days in, which made that first encounter genuinely terrifying. Here, even with enemy spawns set to Low, I keep running into cannibals almost constantly, despite still being at the very beginning of the game. The biggest problem, though, is the lack of progression. I built myself a fairly large base, but I never felt like I actually needed it. It didn't seem to make much difference to how I played. I'm not saying this is a bad game. I can definitely see why many people enjoy it. But I feel like I'm wasting time playing it. I could play for some achievement at least, but they are boring too "Place 500 logs", "drink 50 drinks", seriously? Not my cup of tea.

Вот вы все пишете в обзорах, что в этой игре за вами бегают голые девушки. На радостях зашел, но хоть бы один предупредил, что тут за вами бегают еще и голые мужики.
