Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Adoro Sonic.
Very charming game but I wouldn't pay the whole $60 USD for it

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I got this game assuming that reviews may have been exaggerated, but the bosses really are THAT bad. Bosses range from 5 to 15 minutes per ATTEMPT, most of a boss is scripted waiting, most have multiple phases, there are no checkpoints between them, rarely are there rings between them either, and most bosses have some method of insta-kill. And SEGA somehow expects you to fight them every time you want to replay a level. The bosses absolutely curb-stomp the whole experience. You can get rid of them by just playing on Time Attack mode, but time trials don't allow you to use checkpoints, cosmetics, bonus stages, or even chaos emeralds. On Time Attack mode, however, you'll notice that the levels themselves are actually really good with bosses out of the picture. If SEGA swallowed their pride and reworked the bosses in an early update, then this would have been a solid (yet still overpriced) addition to the franchise.
It's fine, easily the worst of any classic-styled Sonic game so far, but it's fine. But for 60 bucks? No chance in hell, save your money and get Mania instead.
insanely fun time, and I think proof that sonic team can still do classic sonic right. the level gimmicks are all fun and the emerald powers are a nice evolution of wisps that feel a bit more varied (I do find controlling them to be a little clunky, though) I def still have issues, though. the co-op mode while fine enough is very jank, it is very hard to keep up with your team and the camera sometimes has a tough time deciding who to focus on. the versus mode also feels underbaked for being such a big selling point, there's very little content and basically no match settings - not even a stage select, somehow??? still. despite the flaws. good sonic game. not 80 dollars good, but I def think it deserves better than the mixed rating it has right now amy op please nerf
Surprised at the mixed reception ! Before reading this review ; if you're a fan of Sonic's 2-d platformers and want to play something that has all new stages and implements fresh gameplay elements to the Sonic formula; stop robbing your enjoyment and tainting your perceptions by reading reviews and download the game. It's well worth your time. ============================================================ This entry implements a lot of new gameplay mechanics, but most important to me; does not retread old ground that many modern Sonic games have the habit of doing. I particularly found the boss fights very unique in their designs and attack patterns; very nice to see some of the contraptions they made for Eggman, none of them felt boring to fight or look at. The stage designs were nice ! Loved each of the set pieces that doubled as gameplay mechanics in each of the zones. The game tries to add a new mechanic each stage and all of them were pleasantly enjoyable and well implemented. The art style grew on me as i played through the game, the CG is very well modeled and many of the stages' backgrounds have a lot of effort put into them with good art direction that prevents it from feeling lifeless and lazy. The game is not without it's flaws, of course; 1. the music is not up to par for sonic; it's still good and some tracks I could even argue are great, but definitely falls short of what is expected from a game series known for heater after heater. 2. The physics could've used more fine tuning, particularly the underwater sections. 3. while no stages are "reused" from previous Sonic games a lot of the same motifs of the stages are (Looking at you, "Sky Temple Zone"!) 4. The sound mixing is pretty bad; some of the buzzsaws and explosions were over lapping and way too loud in comparison to the game volume. I find it hard to review this game without looking at it's predecessor Sonic Mania like many reviewers before me have compared it to. While I do prefer the artstyle and music of Sonic Mania more, I feel like that game took too much from it's forefathers. I would often find myself having to replay the old Sega Genesis stages on Mania and I couldn't help but wish i was just playing the originals instead. It does make repeat playthroughs of the game a slog, I don't find myself wanting to replay the game often because of it . Sonic SuperStars on the other hand avoids this pitfall by offering wholly original stages and designs that are not found in any of the other Sonic games, which i greatly appreciated in my playthrough. I feel like this game will be reevaluated and appreciated more in the future, but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate what it has to offer now!
This Sonic game is a Enjoyable, Interactive and Fun Platformer that incorporates both Speed and Thinking while platforming in a 2D Sonic game. Yeah, i know that this has been done before but most of them had LESS successful results compared to this one, by that i am talking about the physics and controls. This game is an AWESOME Replica of the Genesis games. Graphics are good and run at a stable 60 FPS, Story is fun and cutesy, Character models look nice, and DLC Skins is a nice touch-on. However, the game felt a bit too short and it has a fatal flaw, Boss Fights. I'm pretty sure Devil himself made the bosses. They are just so ANNOYING that every single time i died, i was trying hard to not punching my Monitor. eventhough, this game has some problems if you manage to buy for like 20 Dollars it would be absolute bargain for you.
This game is straight dookie flakes but it's sonic so I like it
Pretty unimpressive overall, just kinda made wanna replay something better. The level design was sometimes weak, relying on gimmicks I don't really care about, the game also has an odd focus on multiplayer, the music was just okay. Practically nothing about this game really sticks out. I only recommend this game to freaks like me who want to play all of the games in this series more or less.
