Solos

A fun puzzle game. The music is really nice. I think that letting people create their own levels through the workshop could be a fantastic idea to deal with the puzzle games limited replayability, even though the speedrun mode is already a great addition to deal with it.

Solos is a LOT of fun! It's basically Breakout with a bullet-hell twist to it. I played through a ton of the levels, but it felt like I only scratched the surface of available content. The rock music suits the game perfectly, and everything is rendered with a fun "notebook sketch" style. All in all, really fun game and definitely worth it for the price.

I got a review copy and played this game while it was presented at an expo, so I am admittedly a bit biased. Solos is deceptively challenging, its got simple mechanics that work pretty well, and I think the music is actually pretty good. The game describes itself as a action-puzzle but I'd probably describe it as a self-inflicted bullet hell.

O dengeyi siz sağlayacaksınız artık. 100'ün üzerinde bölüm var ve ileride bazı bölümler ciddi anlamda sabrınızı zorluyor. Boş vakitlerinizi değerlendirmek için oynayabilirsiniz. 見えない文字の修正方法：メインメニューの上から2段目をクリックすると設定メニューに行くので、今度は上から4段目をクリックして言語選択メニューに入り言語をEnglishに変更すれば文字が出ます。プレイするには英語でも問題ないです。次に起動すると何故か言語設定が元に戻っているので起動の度に変更する必要があります。 弾丸を発射して画面上のブロックを全て破壊するとクリア。自分の弾丸が壁に反射してそのまま敵になるので当たらないようにしないといけない。ゲーム内容自体はユニークで悪くないのですが、UIの文字が全く表示されません。日本語も韓国語も選択は出来ても表示されず。中国語はそれらしき項目はあるものの選択すら出来ないので、どうも2バイト文字の言語がバグっているようです。日本語対応で売っているのだからバグが修正されるまでは赤評価にせざるを得ません。 ちなみにSteamDeckでは起動して最初の女性の声は流れますが画面が真っ暗で動作が止まりプレイ不可でした。

The best way I could describe this game in a short sentence would be "Create your own Bullet hell". Graphically the game is simple, but also stylised, as if a child is drawing this happening on their notebook which helped the game stay visually interesting The gameplay for Solos is like a twin stick shooter, but your objective is much the same as the classic game of 'Breakout', clear the blocks, only catch is, you can use as many balls as you'd like. This design choice allows you to make the game harder and more chaotic, or you can take it a bit easier and slower by not firing as many balls. The game supports a lot of fun levels with multiple different types of materials that alter how the balls behave and make it easier or harder for you, an example of this would be the sticky surface which will catch the ball that lands on it. The music is fun and enjoyable, however playing through it felt as though the song during main gameplay did become repetitive. I was not a fan of the child vocals for the menu, however, the settings menu does allow this to be turned off. There are a couple of different game modes, a normal playthrough where you go through the levels and aim to complete them all - at this point of writing there is 150-ish levels, there's also an arcade mode and a speedrun mode, however they seem to go through the same levels but Arcade mode gives you 3 lives and Speedrun gives you 1 life. The game is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of bullethell type games, or even a fan of breakout. Seems a good type of game to play for a while, put down and then fire up every so often when you're unsure of what to play.

Le concept est simple mais très intéressant, il faut casser toutes les briques en évitant ses propres balles donc il faut trouver le bon équilibre afin de lancer assez de balles pour tout casser, mais pas trop pour pouvoir les esquiver. Il y a 3 modes, on peut soit faire les 150 niveaux normalement un par un, soit y jouer en mode arcade avec seulement 3 vies, soit tous les enchaîner en mode speedrun avec un chrono. Comme indiqué sur la page du jeu, il faut absolument y jouer avec une manette, ce sera beaucoup plus maniable qu'avec le clavier qui n'est même pas entièrement pris en charge. Il y a une traduction en français un peu approximative et incomplète mais pour ma part ça ne m'a pas vraiment gêné.
