Solitary Sentinel is an innovative rendition of space invaders that incorporates great fun, strategy and variation all into one. A must try for anyone seeking something novel and addictive!
reminds me of Genome Guardian 👍
Surprisingly fun, very good depth and replayeability. Game starts decently fast and gets extremely hectic in later waves in a fun way. The longer you play, the more perks there are to be unlocked. Auto-Aim perk can be utilised for a semi-idle game for when not fully focused. Lots of combos and synergies between weapons and upgrades and perks.
Fun game, has more depth and things to try than I was expecting. I do like how there's certain tradeoffs in the main gun. Play the demo if you want to give a quick try. Gameplay wise, would say it's good for a few afternoons but do feel like you probably have gone through everything in 5-10 hours max (unless you want to max out all the perks). A few issues I would point out just so people are aware (hopefully the dev will fix in the future). 1. Crashing. Not 100% sure why but the game crashes fairly frequently (once a hour or more) 2. Some of the upgrades can cause massive lag. The blackhole weapon seemed to be the worst for this when it gets big (and I have a pretty powerful computer). Recommend avoiding this weapon. Edit: Dev saw my feedback and issued a fix which so far seems to have fixed the performance (although now the issue is that the whole screen is taken up by the blackhole).Hope the people that enjoy these types of games can find this one which I think is underrated, just don't set your expectations too high, to me it is just a nice short chill game.
easy to learn, great and fun game even for newbies! really worth trying it out, and it gets more challenging & exciting as you play!
Worth a try with good ideas, welcome game in the Roguelike franchise
