About
In Sol Cesto, your goal is to descend through the levels of a randomly generated underground world, diving ever deeper in search of the sun, lost for countless years. On the combat grid, choose one of four rows to move into. You'll then land randomly on one of the four tiles in that row: will it be a monster that harms you? A chest full of gold? Or perhaps a deadly poison trap? Anything can happen…
It’s up to you to weigh the risks of each tile as you clear the screen. Of course, your character will grow stronger, and magical items, special powers, and sinister curses will help you bend the odds in your favor and keep fate on your side.
5 biomes to explore, each hiding monsters and traps with unique behaviors
7 characters with distinct powers, stats, and abilities
Stone teeth that change the game’s rules and probabilities to tip the scales in your favor
Metal teeth that trigger devastating curses and combos
A wide range of items to eliminate enemies or escape dangerous situations
The strange underground inhabitants, some of whom may share their secrets with you
And many more surprises…

dude where did the sun go
La difficulté est équilibrée et la découverte des différentes fins donne envie de tout terminer.
I have played a few games in the vein of Pyrene that have more going for them in terms of visual flare than they do in terms of actual gameplay. the core loop of the game is fun, but the modifiers and lack of enemy / level diversity really hurt the replay value. The teeth in particular leave a lot to be desired imo, the "attraction" mechanic is interesting but the amount of control it actually gives you in a run is tiny. The teeth with "triggered" effects (ex. open a chest, disable a trap) are much more interesting but they are unreliable to activate, and even if you do manage to trigger your tooth there is no guarantee that you will be able to capitalize on that trigger. It causes the gameplay loop to boil down to "click on the lane with the highest percentage for a good outcome and pray" which makes the moment to moment gameplay very dull. Items are either difficult to utilize of they completely solve a problem for you, (the key item allows you to completely skip floors including bosses) and they're really expensive for what they do. The fact that your character can fall into a trap multiple times in a row is very frustrating, I really don't like games that make you collect 10,000 of their arbitrary currency before you can play the full game ( I do not have the free time nor desire to grind out every star). Overall I think the game needs more teeth with meaningful triggers, more ways to cope with bad luck or make actually impactful decisions, and more special enemies with actual interesting effects. OVERALL, if you're a gameplay andy I would skip, if you want to see the pretty pictures and you don't care about completing the game it could be for you. currently debating a refund.
This is one of those cult games that has as much drip as depth. At first the art and sounds throw you off guard, but the simple combat and fast take off makes you keep diving back in. I will say the upgrade system is a little lack luster, but it's still solid fun.
Só gostaria que o universo do jogo fosse mais explorado, mas mesmo assim é um excelente jogo.
прекрасная игра стоющая своих денег. За небольшую цену вы получаете хороший продукт на пару вечеров
Gambling, Goblins, and Golden Grillz. Sol Cesto scratches that same risk-taking "I'll play those odds" itch Balatro does, with a lively and indisputably unique hand-brushed art style, and a soundscape that sells the world just as much as the visual art does. The core gameplay loop is addicting and your actions feel tactile and impactful, regardless of whether they were successful or a total failure of an attempt. Progression is not gatekept behind hours and hours of dying to bad runs which is very refreshing in the roguelike genre, as even the worst runs will provide opportunities to progress the world's permanent upgrade tree. Sol Cesto is an easy recommendation to any fan of roguelikes, deck builders, or dungeon crawlers, and is well worth a purchase at its price point.
Arte boa e gameplay bem bacana, embora simples
un juego que la verdad recomiendo mucho es un roguelike a la antiguita pero la verdad muy entretenido y con animaciones muy buenas
Well balanced, addictive and great retro vibes. The artwork is awesome and it's a great one to chill with in an evening.
