A hilarious point and click graphic adventure in the best spirit of the '90s where you play as a young man and his friends in a personal quest that will turn their passion for progressive rock and UFOs into a real intergalactic mess... If they manage to survive school !

I really, really wanted to like this game. I was a backer of Sol705's Kickstarter. My name is accidentally included twice in the credits. I think Patricio Land has made a sincere and earnest game which realises his vision, and I heartily applaud him for doing so. Yet I cannot recommend this to fellow adventure game enthusiasts. It's like playing through someone's unfinished, badly translated pixel-art adventure game fever dream. Puzzles that make no logical sense. Dialogue trees which make no sense. Animations that are made up of only a handful of frames, giving everything a very odd, staccato feel. Drab areas which feel spartan, or that include items you never need to interact with for any reason. Areas which link together in utterly improbable ways. Items which, given a screen's geometry, you shouldn't be able to interact with, but can. A story which is utterly impossible to comprehend. I'm not even sure it could actually be called a story. I've no idea why I did any of the things I did in the game, even at the end. Sometimes you might try to combine an item in the inventory, and instead of just giving you a standard "no" response, the inventory window will close. You can interact with some items in the inventory, but not all. Sometimes when you do the inventory window will stay open. Sometimes it will close. It is as random as the rest of the game. It is by far the most bizarre game I've ever played in my life. The only way I can recommend this to someone is if you want the most surreal adventure game experience currently available - and after having played "Paradigm", that's saying something. Still, again I say well done to Patricio for producing the game he wanted to make. Making games ain't easy, and you did it, so kudos. It just wasn't my cup of psychedelic tea.

Yes, in some places it is made somewhat chaotic, but there is so much sincere desire to create something funny and interesting in it that it is incredibly pleasant to play. Playing as a young boy, we need to solve many incredible important problems, such as finding a bass player for a brother's group, finding a worried cat, while also contacting an unearthly mind and helping not to explode the Universe. Nothing complicated, just a normal guy's day. The general mood and atmosphere of the game reminded me of my beloved adventure "Orion Burger", the game perfectly manages to keep a balance between the sincere carelessness of youth and the themes of an intergalactic mess. On the stage, there is always some kind of crazy performance, you carry a denture in your inventory for the whole game, the interaction between the hero and the objects of the world around you makes you smile from ear to ear. The game provides a fairly large number of locations for simultaneous visits, so sometimes you can even get lost with your goal, but not enough to get stuck for a long time. With the consistency of using the items, everything is fine, except for a couple of points that look VERY intuitive, even in this they pay tribute to the adventure games of the 90s. As for the plot, it does not cause any complaints, the only exception here is the game for the professor, the importance of which for the game I have not understood. The only technical flaw is that achievements are broken in the game so far, but this will be fixed, I think. Everything is drawn quite well, the picture looks nice and soulful, as it should be for this game. Everything here is done to create an extremely positive and fun vibe that will certainly cheer up the player. And even if there is no incredible depth or philosophical excavations of secret meanings in this, but how are such games needed, every time something like this is released, my soul becomes warmer. An excellent adventure that will make you forget about problems and hardships for a few hours, we recommend.
So I got to the final... and I'd say I'm quite dissappointed. This game claims that it could be more than it is. Graphics are okay but I didn't like not so smooth animation and slow lazy walking of character. It is 2020, you know. I like art insertions of characters. As for me, it would be more nice to see ingame graphics closer to those arts. Or even 3d. As what we can see in community. The puzzles are quite fun. Dialogs are okay and fun sometimes. (Bug report on 2020.12.29: In some moments thre looks like there are lost audio and quite long pause before dialog starts. I played English version.) There is difference between what main charater says and what is written in dialog options. However, there in not much outcome in what you choose to say. Maybe some hints on what to do. Characters look promising and charismatic (their arts, too). But their story lines are hollow and shallow. There are a lot of unfinished story lines and stuff can be seen here and there in the game. The story about "escape from school and not getting caught for that" yells to be just introduction but turns out to be main story. Unfortunately, all other stories around are not developed enough. Even story with band is quite broken in its final. The theme of aliens and saving the world is a decoration mostly. Those creatures just appear in a couple of moments as some surreal trip and then dissappear with no big reason and logic. The ending is abrupt. I expected to be second chapter here. Where the story of aliens would be told... And third chapter where they truly save the worldand as a by product main character befiend with rock-girl and bass player... But nope. Obviously, scenario was patched and shortcutted to jump to final. Seems like the intentions and ambitions were quite bigger but this was not put into action due to deadline and/or lack of funding. As to indie developer I respect those good intentions and efforts. But final product was quite dissapointing for me just because It promissed more, As a resume I'd say if you like quest puzzles and some fun then this game is ok. But do not expect very deep and developed story here.

Very nice game, love the animations and the humor
nice point and click adventure game is long thats a good thing i recomand this
Fun setting full of quirky characters delivered strongly with a good sense of humour. Great range of interesting and intuitive puzzles. Wackiest inventory I've encountered in a while. Lovely artwork. I came for the 70s nostalgia hit, was immediately hooked into the story, got distracted exploring this fun little setting and meeting the motley crew of dysfunctional characters filling it, and stayed for the puzzles. Hey guys, overall I can only recommend playing this lovely point and click adventure game. Let's have a look on the top features and on the features with some space for improvement. TOP: - graphic style of scenery - lot of retro feeling comes along when playing Sol 705 - funny and somehow exaggerated chars - puzzles not too hard and solveable by think, not much trial & error needed - official hint system - several hints included in gameplay (very funny) - ingenious story - overall humor in the game (dialogues, story) - Aliens and rock music? What else is needed??? Improvement potential: - dialogues sometimes confusing - voice over not always fitting to text With one eye on the things that could be improved I want to say, that this game ain't a triple A title and it is the first game from Space Indie Studios / Patricio Land. It was made with limited budget and therefore the result is great. Please keep that in mind when judging on this game. I really enjoy playing Sol 705 and I guess you also will !
