Lord Azazel Group
good
This game and it's dlcs are the same as sok, sok min and sok max, just a different way of purchasing it I guess. It doesn't diminish the nice gameplay, just be aware of it if you already own the other games. Overall it's a simplistic sokoban game with a variety of levels ranging from very easy to very hard, I enjoyed playing through all 250 of them.
SOK PRO is a lazy, unabashed ripoff of the free 1990's Adobe Flash game, Sokoban. Like, it's even in the name that this is a ripoff. So, does this ripoff offer anything new that might make PC gamers in 2023 want to abandon modernisim and return to browser games? Hell, no. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is often used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2018), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. SOK PRO is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. Note: Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. good
Very simple, basic, awesome!! Levels doesn't seem to follow any difficulty curve.
Finally, the Dark theme was added to the Sok series! To be honest, this game is no different from previous versions of the serie and there were even many repetitive stages in it! Compared to previous versions, no special features and mechanisms have been added to the game, and its level is exactly the same as previous games, and as I said, the only positive thing about this game is that it has a dark theme. Overall, I don't think it worth buying, but if you want to buy the full series of games, not bad. tolerable.

SOK PRO is a modern interpretation of a timeless puzzle formula, and what immediately stands out is its commitment to clarity and precision. Developed and published by Siberian Mouse, the game doesn’t try to disguise its Sokoban lineage—box pushing on compact grid-based maps remains the core mechanic—but it presents that foundation with updated visual polish, smooth controls, and a welcoming interface. The experience begins simply, with easily solvable layouts designed to teach movement, positioning, and spatial awareness, but it gradually evolves into a thoughtful, brain-bending challenge. Instead of inventing new rules, the game focuses on refining those that already work, and that restraint allows the puzzles to shine without distraction. Its structure is built around a set of handcrafted levels that increase in complexity at a steady, satisfying pace. Early stages encourage experimentation and build confidence, while later puzzles force you to consider long-term consequences, sequencing, and the possibility of cornering yourself with a single careless move. Because the player can only push crates and never pull them, every decision carries weight, and success often comes from stepping back and mentally visualizing the entire solution path before committing to action. The inclusion of an undo function allows room for trial and error without punishment, striking a pleasant balance between challenge and accessibility. Even when a puzzle feels overwhelming, the game encourages persistence rather than frustration. Visually, SOK PRO embraces a minimalist aesthetic, but not in a way that feels bare or uninspired. The environments and tilesets are clean, readable, and easy on the eyes, ensuring that the player’s attention remains on logic rather than visual clutter. Optional background themes and customization features add subtle personality and allow the interface to adapt to a player’s preference, whether they want something bright or discreet. The sound design mirrors this approach— unobtrusive, steady, and supportive, intended to keep players focused rather than entertained through spectacle. The audio and presentation don’t demand attention, and that restraint reflects confidence in the gameplay itself. Quality-of-life features elevate the experience further, making the game approachable to players of all skill levels. Adjustable settings, cloud saving, achievements, and leaderboard support introduce progression and motivation without altering the purity of the puzzles. The low hardware requirements mean nearly anyone can run the game, which suits a genre best enjoyed quietly, without performance concerns or technical hurdles. Nothing about SOK PRO feels rushed or carelessly implemented; even small details, like smooth tile transitions or responsive keyboard controls, reinforce the impression of a carefully considered design philosophy. Of course, SOK PRO’s greatest strength—its loyalty to classic Sokoban principles—may also limit its appeal for some players. It does not include narrative framing, evolving mechanics, character progression, or puzzle gimmicks designed to constantly surprise or reinvent the experience. The formula remains consistent from start to finish, and players seeking dramatic variety or experimental twists may feel the repetition more strongly than puzzle purists do. Once all levels are completed, the game offers little reason to return unless one enjoys replaying puzzles for efficiency, speed, or personal satisfaction. Still, within its chosen scope, SOK PRO performs impressively. It understands the quiet pleasure of deliberate problem solving, of staring at a level until its logic suddenly reveals itself, and of experiencing that subtle but rewarding click of comprehension. It respects the player’s intelligence without becoming inaccessible, and it values elegant design over unnecessary complexity. For those who appreciate methodical thinking, careful planning, and structured puzzles built with intention, SOK PRO delivers exactly what it promises. It may not redefine the genre, but it honors it with clarity, competence, and confidence—and for many puzzle fans, that alone makes it well worth playing. Rating: 8/10
