A super fun VR experience! It's a simple idea, with a great execution. Nothing more satisfying than sending that smug snowman flying! Looking forward to playing more.

One of the funniest VR games!!!

I'm really surprised by how this game caught me. It is simple but very well designed: [b]Gameplay:[/b] It is physical! The combination of dodging the opponent's snowballs while rebuilding your fort, aiming, throwing, etc will challenge you. But this sense of emergency is Snow Fort's big success: recreating this stressful amusement that we experienced as kids, playing with snow. I really feel like a kid in winter again playing this game. I am quite exhausted after a battle, but it is this kind of fun exhaustion resulting of gentle horseplay. The Arcade aspect of the game allows rest between battles, which is much needed. NewtonVR physics are pretty good, but throwing snowballs takes a bit of training to gain in accuracy and feel ok with the controller as an extend of my hand. I can't wait to see more games like that once VR Gloves become more accessible to the public. Different modes are available, so far my favorite is the Survival one, that reminds me Long Bow VR and is a good balance of aiming / dodging / building / strategy. 8.5/10 [b]Music/Sound:[/b] The music is pleasant and definitely brings us into a peaceful Winter time vibe. The sound design is basic but efficient. I could see more use of the spatialization to direct our attention, and a few more filters to recreate the "muted" tones that snow creates. Overall the atmosphere is here and feels good. 7/10 [b]Graphics:[/b] The game's graphics are very simple and low-poly. It makes it very light on performances but I could see more use of PBR shaders and FX. The environments and lighting feel a bit repetitive (I would have loved to see some maps at night time) but still recreate pretty well the Winter light and feel quite immersive. 7/10 [b]Conclusion:[/b] I would definitely recommend this game. There is room for improvement, but the coherent and playful experience it offers brings fun and nostalgia. A perfect family-friendly experience to fight seasonal depression, have fun with your kids or revive some winter time nostalgia in your inner child. [b]Note: 7.5/10[/b]

Snow fortress.. The game that sneaks up on you... Seemingly innocent this game will tirellesly challenge you to KEEP THROWING!!! Cute game. You can barely play one handed (you can throw snowballs, but you have to use the slingshot to be competitive). You can mostly play sitting down as long as you are able to turn around to take objects, and move your head to the sides. VR accessibility score ----------------------- One-handed = 2/10 Wheelchair = 6/10

That was a pretty fun little game. :) This would be a great multiplayer game. And you are gonna want to get kneepads, cause it gets intense in the winter of battle. Seems like the only thing really missing is some of the audio.

Snow Fortress is a lot of fun to play! I enjoyed the game a lot. To be honest i really thought this would be a very easy game but it wasn't. It was challenging and has a great play style.
