Hey ! Cracking little game. Best Snooker game I have ever played. Controls can be a bit fiddly but they are pretty straight forward. A few bugs here and there and the interface is not the best. The graphics are perfectly OK and I have had NO problems launching from Windows 11. As I said, this is the best snooker game simply because it feels like a real game of snooker. 9/10

amazing game
Snooker Nation Championship is a focused cue-sports simulation developed and published by Cherry Pop Games that aims to recreate the strategic and methodical nature of professional snooker. Rather than offering a collection of different billiards disciplines, the game dedicates itself entirely to snooker, presenting players with a tournament-driven experience where precision, patience, and tactical awareness are far more important than flashy presentation. Its design philosophy is clearly centered on authenticity, making it a title that caters primarily to fans of the sport rather than players looking for an arcade-style interpretation. The main attraction is the championship mode, which takes players through a series of qualifying rounds before reaching the final stages of the competition. This structure successfully captures the progression of a real snooker tournament, creating a satisfying sense of advancement as victories accumulate. Every match demands concentration, as a single mistake can shift momentum to the opponent. The game emphasizes thoughtful shot selection, safety play, and break-building, rewarding players who understand the nuances of the sport. Winning a frame often feels earned because success depends on planning several shots ahead rather than relying on luck or fast reactions. One of the strongest aspects of Snooker Nation Championship is its physics system. Ball movement feels convincing, with shot power, spin, and angles playing significant roles in every encounter. Positioning the cue ball becomes just as important as potting the current shot, encouraging players to think strategically throughout a frame. The realistic handling gives matches a level of tension that mirrors real snooker, especially during longer exchanges where maintaining control of the table becomes critical. For enthusiasts who appreciate the technical side of cue sports, the gameplay delivers a rewarding challenge. The game also includes online multiplayer features, allowing players to test their skills against competitors from around the world. Global rankings and leaderboards provide additional motivation to improve, while unlockable cues offer a modest sense of progression beyond the championship campaign. Although the online component is not packed with extensive customization or competitive features, it extends the game's lifespan and gives experienced players an opportunity to showcase their abilities against human opponents. Visually, the game prioritizes functionality over spectacle. The tables, balls, and environments are presented clearly, making it easy to assess shots and plan strategies. While the graphics are respectable, they lack the visual flair and production values associated with larger sports franchises. Character models and animations are relatively simple, and the atmosphere can feel somewhat understated. However, the clean presentation serves the gameplay well, ensuring that the focus remains firmly on the action at the table rather than unnecessary distractions. Accessibility is another area where the game performs reasonably well. New players can grasp the fundamentals without too much difficulty, while experienced snooker fans will find enough depth to remain engaged. The controls are intuitive, but mastering advanced positional play and consistent break-building requires practice. This balance allows the game to appeal to both casual players interested in learning snooker and dedicated fans seeking a realistic simulation. The game's biggest limitation is its lack of variety. Beyond the tournament structure and online competition, there is relatively little additional content to explore. Players hoping for extensive career management systems, licensed professionals, detailed customization options, or numerous gameplay modes may find the package somewhat sparse. The narrow focus on traditional snooker is admirable, but it also restricts the game's broader appeal and can make the experience repetitive over long periods. Despite these shortcomings, Snooker Nation Championship succeeds in delivering an authentic representation of snooker. Its realistic physics, tournament progression, and emphasis on strategy create an enjoyable experience for players who appreciate the sport. While it may not offer the depth, polish, or content volume of larger sports simulations, it remains a respectable niche title that understands what makes snooker engaging. Rating: 6/10
