Do you like puzzles, fruit and the notion of crossing a snake with a bird for no good reason? If the answer to at least one of those questions is yes, then Snakebird might be the game for you. Solve your way through this headscratcher of a puzzle game and help the snakebirds sate their hunger.

this was incredibly difficult but nothing in my life has felt greater than beating the final level hooly satisfying solutions across the board gg snakebird
This is a new favorite of mine, and I haven't even finished it yet. A fantastic puzzle game that is expertly paced. The game may be deceptively hard compared to what you may expect based on the art, and a fair few of the puzzles are really easy to get stumped on. The atmosphere is uplifting but maybe not as juvenile as it seems, though still colorful and cartoony. Overall a beautifully crafted puzzle game. The only downside is that this game sets the bar high for future puzzle games, and if this game is one of your first in the genre (like me) you may find a lack of similarly high quality games.

This game is for a very specific type of person. I'll admit that. But this is about my thoughts and my experience. I do not enjoy this game. I found it tedious and frustrating. It's just "do the exact inputs the developer did" until you win or give up in frustration. It gets real old real fast. The lack of unique solutions makes it virtually impossible to replay in any fun capacity. I only beat it because I spent money. That's about it. There are way better games out there in my opinion. SOME of you may like this game, but I bet a vast majority of you won't.
great
Short puzzle game but with a steep difficulty curve. Would not recommend as your first puzzle game, but if you've played a few before this shouldn't be too hard. Very cute but the music got old quickly. Mechanically there isn't a ton of depth, but for the length of the game it stays fun. Definitely worth it on sale, but full price I don't know if it's worth it since I 100%'d in ~4 hours.
Stick with it. The game really starts to open up after 15-20 levels when you start to intuitively understand the nature and capabilities of 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-snakes and can start seeing the key ideas in advance instead of feeling like you're just brute forcing or stumbling onto the solutions.
Very lovely visuals, but the difficulty can be absolutely brutal! A must play for puzzle fans, but this game is not noob friendly.
This game is evil and brutal, don't trust the cutesy art. Snakebirds hurt me on a physical and emotional level. Then I started to get it. I was able to see what the snakebirds were really capable of. Then they beat me up again and told me I didn't know anything. I looked up a video for the level and realized I really didn't know anything. I learned. I solved something very difficult without any assistance and I thought, wow, I must be smart, I've finally tamed the Snakebirds. Then they beat me up again and showed me that my human brain will never fully comprehend the Snakebird. Great puzzle game with a lot of genius levels, but man is it rough when they throw you into the deep end and you have to build 12 new neural pathways in your brain to get out.
Deceptively complex puzzle game. At least in this one you can iterate on your ideas until you've figured out the optimal space-filling curve of your snake body. I would like the undo button to undo restarts, because I sometimes accidentally pressed that when I only intended to undo a single move. I'd also like undo to change the controlled bird, as that state preserving caused me a few headaches. I'll probably keep tapping away at the levels, but it's not the kind of game I can play for large stretches of time without frustration taking over!
