Smoker The Car Game

[h1]Positive Aspects[/h1] 🔹Decent Car models that resemble real life cars. 🔹Suprisingly useful car tunes. 🔹Has a sandbox type feeling which shows a lot of potential. 🔹Decent variety of race racks. [h1]Negative Aspects[/h1] 🔸Not much else to do other than drifting by yourself. 🔸Some inconsistent graphics and physics. [h1]Introduction[/h1] This Game is a arcade/realistic driving simulator where you can customize the Vehicle to your liking and do Drifts and burnouts on the maps provided. You can test you drifting skills within different modes ( Carrer mode & Training ) being able to use all the cars and tracks available including the tunes. [h1]Review[/h1] [list] [*][h1]Gameplay:[/h1] As i mentioned above, this is purely a drifting game that focuses mostly on the speed you have while starting the drift or the amount of smoke your car produces while drifting. These are the main 2 factors of the point system at the moment. While trying to achieve your highest score you have the abililty to change cars and to individually tune them to your likings. It is reported that Carrer Mode will have a Story and you will be able to visually change the car. An Online Mode will be included too as a Free Roam type setting. All of that will be included in future updates probably. Car Physics: Considering what type of game this is and the fact that it was created by a small studio, i have to say that the physics are Acceptable which is good. Drifting isn't as easy as you might think. You have to find the perfect balance of throttle and steering in order to complete the drift without spinning out or just finishing the attempt too early. At high speeds your car starts to lose control which is somewhat realistic with older cars and not new ones but that could just be a game design. Crash physics look realistic enough where i cannot really complain. [*][h1]Story:[/h1] - [*][h1]Graphics/ Audio:[/h1] Graphics: As i have said, the game was developed by a smaller team. ( One Person ). Smoker The Car Game isn't a game that will amaze you with its visual performance but that isn't what its trying to achieve. Colours are very blant but that isn't always bad, trees and buildings do look quite basic with not much detail, same goes with lighting effects and particle effects, i like how the smoke is so dense but it should start ''smoking'' a little faster in my opinion when you drift. Car Models actually look pretty good in my opinion and resemble most of the real life examples. Shortly said it looks like a late PS2 title ( 2005- 2006 ) which isn't bad at all. Audio/Soundtrack: There is no soundtrack. The Car Engine sound different from car to car which is a great touch. It is always good to hear the turbos in car and when you change to another one you can hear a totally different sound. Tyre noises are pretty basic too but that is not the end of the world as other tyre models will be added. [*][h1]Performance :[/h1] On Low End Devices: Not tested yet. On High End Devices: Intel Core i7 4790k, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX 1070: I had a decent enough framerate yet it still felt laggy and the game still needs some work as far as optimazation goes as a GTX 1080 for ''Recommeneded'' is a little too much. Bugs/Glitches/Crashes: In 8~10 Hours of Gameplay i had no Crashes or any Major Glitches. One problem is that i could not connect either a Wheel ( Thrustmaster T150 ) Neither a controller ( XBOX one ) which is a bummer. [*][h1]Multiplayer :[/h1] -(will be added in the future) [*][h1]Price :[/h1] 8,99Eur is in my opinion a fair price as the game has great potential. More Content will come in the future. [*][h1]Conclusion :[/h1] Smoker the Car Game is a game that does have potential with its great tuning abilities and well worked car models. If Online and more content becomes a thing i would say that it would be a good game. At the moment there is not much content so keep that in mind.
