Smackball is a competitive two-player game with a simple concept, but a lot of depth in it's mechanics. While it is easy to learn the basic controls, you will need to master the time management and stamina control if you want to beat your friends. The game has few game modes, and each of them has a unique point that makes them interesting. Personally, I recommend the power ups mode as it has a little bit more tactics in it than the other modes.
Awesome game capable of providing an immense amount of fun for you and your friends! It is easily noticeable that the game was made with love and polished to perfection. This can be seen from the visuals, which are clean but very pleasant, to the mechanics and gameplay, which are perfectly balanced. What looks like a very simple game, quickly turns into an addictive, fun and competitive experience. The amount of game mode customization is huge. Controls and mechanics are easy to pick up, but try playing with a person who has twice the hours you invested in the game (or more)... Hint, it's crazy fun to do that. The amount of creativity when playing the game skyrockets when playing the Power Ups mode. Highly recommend trying it at least once. Be warned though, you will probably want to play it more after you try it. The game features a very well made AI system and challenging bots with customizable difficulty. However, it is best enjoyed with friends. With a local and online multiplayer support, starting a game with your friends is a breeze. Deciding when to stop is the hard part. Highly recommend for chilling with your pals or family. Although, some games can become quite intense as the score rises, which I personally love.
This game is great. Playing against the AI is good, but playing against other friends is amazing (either locally or by using Remote Play Together). The game is fast paced and fun. Every game is different and requires focus and reflexes. The graphics are simplistic and easy on the eyes with soft colors. This is great, at least for me, because it lets you focus on the gameplay. I like Powerups mode the most :)
