Sludgineers

This is a "probably yes" review, in that if you like what you see, you should probably buy it. It's like a 2D powerwash simulator, sort of. But I almost had to give it a negative review, because the mid-end of the game is basically just sitting there, waiting for the refinery to refine the materials, buying an upgrade, and then going back to waiting. I wish there was like, a way to speed up the refining while not actively playing the levels, like holding down some button or something like that. Otherwise I had to just leave it sitting there doing the refining, while I did other things.

So far interesting, shorter game to play a bit after work. plenty of upgrades that are unique. Pacing seems either off or i played weirdly, was finished in about two afternoons/play sessions and took one last day to buy all upgrades encountering multiple new gameplay options i didnt need to finish the final level. Did feel a bit repetetive at the end because of it, playing the same level ~20 times and waiting. the #1 Patch did help out in that regard already. Performance wise was stable and pretty to look at. Can recommend especially for the low Price. I did play in german localisation and did not find glaring issues and all the upgrades did what they promised.
