I don't know where else to post this other than reviews so I guess this is a review now.. I love the concept of this game. You get to create your own slimes and go first person with them in battles, using their abilities and trying to dodge the enemies'. I didn't go too far into it, but other than minor glitches, it worked okay for single player right now. There are some glitches, but keep in mind I am posting this on day 1 of early release!! This game has great potential and could be really fun to play, especially with friends, when it's completed. I think this game will definitely be worth playing once it has more functionality and the glitches are cleared out. Right now, it is playable, but confusing, and you might need to close it a few times when you glitch. All in all, expect some glitches, like any early access game, but seeing as it is free, I definitely recommend downloading it to try it out and see if you want to wait for it's full release to really play it! Some notes for the developers: (I don't know where else to post this) - The graphics are wonky and occasionally seems to glitch into two slightly off versions of the screen, specifically in text screens like character creation or editing/creating slimes - There was a glitch where you could no longer click anything and are forced to close and reopen the game if you spam click on the npc character tutorial interactions - You can't type the name of a slime after you create it, you can only use the randomizer - The map in the tutorial section/first pve map does not match the actual world - Some of the quest target locations on the map were in the wrong location - There is no way to view all active quests once you start accepting them after the tutorial, you can only see the most recently accepted one in the bottom right (i did not check if you can complete them if it wasn't the most recent one) - Multiplayer locks the laboratory door - Multiplayer cannot use the train station - you can join the same map if you create the multiplayer lobby from the map you want to be in, but then you are stuck in that one unless you leave it and recreate your lobby in a different map - multiplayer cannot join parties together in the party tab, but joining a fight together does seem to work and we are able to fight together... after the battle, it did not switch us out of our slime's perspective and we were stuck Personal opinion lol - The pov on the character when you start the game in the apartment felt odd, just the angle and way it moved - I got lost trying to find the laboratory, might just be me being stupid and not looking at the giant sign above the building, but the map pinged the wrong location.. better tutorial instructions? - I feel like we don't have enough inventory space with all the items we are given, so I would request expanding the slots - A way to change you characters username after the character has been created? - Might just be me but it felt like the rarity of drops wasn't proportionate - Another thing with tutorial, but I never figured out how to get runes ? I feel like I should have been told in the tutorial or something

Neutral Review. Not negative, but not truly positive either. This game has one serious issue, but not a game killing one fortunately. It just is not ready to invest my time into personally. But heres the rundown of what I see as the worst issue, as well as the best reason to keep this in your eyeline. The issue = Balance. Due to the current balance of the game, or better term would be lack of balance, combat is very slow. VERY slow. PAINFUL slow. I have 3.4 hours into this game and this is just from the first training area that is really small, where I fought a total of maybe 10 enemies. Second area is even more "challenging", and I had to end my session in frustration when every other move the enemies used was a HUGE AOE healing spell used on enemies who are already tank type enemies. 100-150hp enemies where every hit I do is 1 hp? And thats with a new Slime, level 12, and the enemies were level 14. That alone makes it really hard to enjoy playing this game for any amount of time. The reason that you need to keep an eye on this game is it is a whole new take on monster collection games and it really is a breath of fresh air. The potential here is immense, gameplay loop seems nice and clean, monster collection and creation is fun (although the creation feels a bit lackluster and uninvolved but I did not get very far so maybe that changes). I have a good feeling about this game, and am excited to see where it goes. If I can get myself to move forward with playing in its current state I will update my review with whatever new insight I may find.
So I was browsing the new releases and stumbled across this game. Thought, “Hey, why not give it a shot?” Well… I now wish I’d never been given that opportunity. From the moment I launched it, things got wild. The movement is so clunky it feels like the character’s wearing roller skates on a trampoline. I’m not saying it’ll make you motion sick, but maybe keep a bucket nearby—just in case. Character creation? Didn’t work. Name change? Nope. And the look sensitivity? One twitch of the thumb and you’re doing involuntary 360s like a caffeinated figure skater. Sure, there’s an option to adjust it, but even the lowest setting feels like it’s powered by a leaf blower. And the cutscenes… oh, the cutscenes. Let’s just say they’re the kind of cringe that makes you want to apologize to your screen.
A depressingly disappointing game. I thought the slime feature was being done to allow for more customizable creature creation, this is how it's sold. But it is actually clearly being used to avoid creating textures for the models. Customization is not the name of this game at all. Repetition is. The controls are not well thought out, the combat is slow and basic, and never changes even when you go up against a boss. Chests are placed near water, water for no explainable reason instantly kills you, and items have physics, so as if by design most loot will roll down into lakes and become impossible to pick up. The inventory space is a joke and it makes no sense why quest items take up the same slots you have for consumables. I had to drop all of my gathered healing items in order to actually make progress, but it also makes any item quest reward worthless and you have to drop them too to do more quests. To make it crueler, there is no item storage or item selling in this game. This item system being this bad by accident is hard to believe. But I can't tell what doing it intentionally is doing for them. Especially when they want you to spend real life money on ingame items. The chance you'll get scammed by your purchased item rolling into an area you cant reach is way too high. And I do mean "scammed" in the very literal definition. It is disgusting that this game would dare ask for real money for such a poorly designed system. But even if items were fixed, the gameplay itself is incredibly boring, and is also where all the bugs are. I had one battle where I was stuck in place for the entire fight. Another fight where my slime monster was floating the entire time. And the early game battles, I didn't even KNOW I was meant to be getting XP because it's not shared, it goes to whoever gets the kill, so my ally was kill-stealing me the entire tutorial and I never even knew. This is definitely not intended. I don't see this game having hope even with fixes. There is no aspect of this game that is even average. It's subpar everywhere. It has nothing unique about it. I would love to see the slime aspect be used to allow you to create unique models ingame for your monsters, but given how buggy things already are, that might just result in nightmares. This game is a waste of time to play, and waste of time for the devs to keep working on. I love that more devs are noticing the huge gap in the market where Pokemon is underperforming, but this does not fill that gap, this is just chasing the trend. There are MANY better games in this genre now.
i can feel my brain developing alzheimer as i play this please add options to turn off the sun, and every other types of special effects, everything is so bright and hard to see, it makes everything in this game look worse than they should, like the beginning of steins gate (but stein gates atleast looked cool) please make it turn based, turn based combat is actually more fast paced than this, please, being able to dictate your own pace in fights is more important than it looks, otherwise id just go play something else, since the glacial pace of fights currently in the game is going to make me fall into a coma please remove the punch ability, it makes the difficulty so that a toddler can beat it, might aswell add in auto battle and auto move so that the game also plays itself please make the zoom inside your house the exact same as outside, theres no reason for it be so zoomed in, i cannot even see myself or the environment properly, and add zoom buttons please make cosmetic items not time gated, theyre the only thing worth spending gold and time on, my backpack has 5 slots and i get to fill them with expensive-not-worth-it items that i can ignore by just, collecting orbs that drop in battle, like its god of war or something, the orbs can restore your hp or mp, and maybe something else, but i dont renember quest items also take up an entire bag slot, for the entire duration youll be gathering them for quests, so theres that or carrying slime puddles to restore a miniscule amount of both stats, or some human only items you dont need or should want but supposes that when i was having fun, it was fighting against more than one enemy during the tutorial quest, the encounter exposes the weakness of the combat system, the lock on cannot cycle between enemies and i dont believe its an intentional design choice to mimic the challenge of fighting more than one opponent, you cannot cast your magic moves without locking on, but you can still punch, i think it was possible to hit something without locking on, as i managed to do once with the punch attack, but since enemies have no collision and your movement angle and rotation has inertia and limits, you can phase through an enemies hitbox and miss so its down to moving your mouse slowly across the screen and locking on between enemies, i hope this wont break if theres more than 2 enemies where im looking at, since that much enemies will probably mess up the lock on since they are so well known for being really reliable in any modern action games, please also add suck to targets so i can randomly hit a guy behind me that im not even looking at (ni no kuni 2 revenant kingdom) blocking is also on a timer like everything else, its the 2nd defensive option for situations where youre facing more than one enemy, or something that casts attacks faster i guess, you punch something to interrupt their attack, then block if theres another enemy casting, it really isnt fun, since if something strong were to attack you, that might be the only option you should pick or risk taking large amounts of damage, as youll probably be in a situation where you are time disadvantaged with the casting of your attacks, so theyll shoot first and youll be hit, depends on the attack and how they move, it might let you fire off an attack anyway to hit them do these attacks cancel one another, like fire being countered by water when you both fire at the same time? itd be interesting but its hard to tell, i did see some 0s popping up and the word "FAILED" or something when something casts, no clue what happened overall the combat is extremely slow, shallow and very uninteresting and repetitive, rpg and action really never mix well, and all depth that can be found is always negated by RPG, especially when its so prevalent, itd be one thing to have light rpg elements that gives your human/monsters new moves to use, and just big numbers that slaps away all your problems and no you dont gain new moves by leveling up in this game, you have to find some thingamajig to put into the slime maker thing to get new moves, itll probably take you over 60 seconds everytime to get back to that machine, and no, the open space with no fences on the walkway has an invisible wall, so you cant shave off 1 second maybe to reach it im not interested in talking about the gameplay anymore, theres a reason i was falling into a coma, and developing alzheimer like mentioned prior, i guess its just skill issue :( the graphics is fine, i like the character designs, a bit, needs to remove the built in untoggleable ray tracing that unity has, it wont be off even after you turn it off, destroys performance and makes everything look so very bad, and like every other special effects too, this game would look better if it were shaded like GOCCO of War or something else similar, there are minecraft cubes clashing with "realistic" "terrains" and then your character looking like an xbox avatar, while everything is lit up like the sun is cooking the planet, at 4000 degrees celcius the game has no coherent style or aesthetic, and i guess thats that, the music is very boring, repetitive, the ui is also very boring, and repetitive well im bored of writing this, Ostriv just finished torrenting so ill just be playing that, ciao edit: oh hey, 2 hours, all perfect at time of review, im so timely <3
I really like the different slimes I was seeing so far! The designs vary quite a bit and I like that a lot. However... with the time I spent playing I'm a bit upset because throughout the whole time and after all the types of slimes I did encounter, I was not able to use the cores or the various element binding stones at all because I could only ever have a flamebound bunshi. I tried with the scaroknight and tyctowl cores (with a mix of earthbound and ghostbound cores) and I didn't get anything other than a flamebound bunshi named "TestMon". I want to enjoy this game and I absolutely see the potential but. Any amount of content past where I was doesn't feel worth it if I can only use one type of monster and it never allows for anything else. Edit: Since that bug was fixed I was able to try out some other slimes. I'm excited to make them much stronger and get some more types! I'm definitely gonna be playing this game every so often and checking up on it. I really want to see it flourish!
The Duck character was cool. Other than that, I got soft locked on several different accounts.
I'm loving this so far! It's normal that a game in early development will need a bit of tweaking here and there, but so far it feels great. I hope you don't stop updating this game and I hope it improves for the better! I will be playing this game for a while :>. I've been playing so far, and like the others the graphics are a bit of a problem especially the motion blue, I recommend making that toggleable, and also to reduce the lighting a bit. Another thing to note is that every time I create a monster, it's always Firebound Bunshi, I hope this gets fixed soon
First loading it up and getting into character creation, ran into issues. Face shape, eyes, eye brows, nose all worked fine. Hair had the color looking like you get black hair with what ever color highlights you picked, which was odd, but figured was just a way to be different with some fun. Though once loaded in, turned out was just not set to show right while in creation and is actually full color. This should have been a tell tale as to how the rest of the game would be, when something so simple before even running around should have been caught. Next thing I ran into, was improper placement of the yellow tracked quest icon of the starter quest once you exit the building of where you live and talk with your friends telling you to "Go to the Lab", yet has the marker in the middle of the road. To which when arriving at the marker destination, was met with being not just hit by a car, but actually phasing into it, with no way out. Attempted to move around in every way necessary, only to get stuck further back, before getting launched into the sky with no ability of opening a menu or moving around. Had to full close the game and reopen it. Only after getting back in and going up to the Tram Station (with story not having unlocked it yet) and having to turn around did I see the giant words on the side of a building that said "Labs" to know I had to go there. Finally made my slime, unlocked the tram and traveled to the first zone. Once there was met with the battle system that threw everything I knew about controller gaming out the window. Especially since there was only keyboard icons for everything on screen. Trying every button I could to do just the single skill was a nightmare, only to find it was Left on the D-pad. Somehow managing to pull off a win, I immediately went into the menu and tried to find any semblance of a layout or remapping option, since on Steam it says "Full Controller Support", let alone a layout for keyboard binds, but there isn't any at all. It is all just a leave you guessing what all does what where some icons are just symbols. Like when you want to drop something from your inventory, it shows what looks to be a, magnifying glass? Last issue I ran into that made me call it quits, was when I was in battle and some how managed to swap from my slime to my character, and caused my game to full on freeze up. While I do feel the game has potential, it still feels like the game is in beta stage and not ready for full release. The 5 inventory slots to start is a joke with how much stuff you are given on just the first run through from breaking crates/vases, battle drops, and the chests. Before even getting into the second (if lucky, cause I wasn't) or third run through on the first area getting NPC quests items added to taking up space and rewards from that (as there is no designated quest item tab similar to slime parts tabs), trying to get 3000 coin just to buy a bag expansion from the vendor, only to get a single slot. Oh, and this is without the option to sell off any extra stuff you don't want to get even a little coin to make it go even a little faster to get another slot. Just have to drop items on the ground (if you can figure out the button to do so) or use them (like character food of OJ, fruit cup or sandwich) when HP is already full.
posting yes because i love 2 things, mmorpgs and monster taming games. this game has quite a bit of bugs atm, and i dont know if its really a mmo because i didnt see any players and the global chat didnt work. but it might just not show players due to lower playerbase. either way i love the graphics and want the game to succeed so ill put yes for now. not too much content i dont think i only played for an hour though and got bored, someone else said they cleared the game in 5 hours. hope they keep updating it though and make it a true mmo monster taming rpg
