About
You're on a path in the woods, and at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Princess.
You're here to slay her. If you don't, it will be the end of the world.
She will do everything in her power to stop you. She'll charm, and she'll lie, and she'll promise you the world, and if you let her, she'll kill you a dozen times over. You can't let that happen. Don't forget, the fate of the world rests on your shoulders.
You're not going to listen to him, are you? We're supposed to save princesses, not slay them...
Features
Fully voice-acted by the impeccable Jonathan Sims and Nichole Goodnight.
Hand-penciled art - every background and sprite is drawn traditionally with pencil and paper by Ignatz-winning graphic novelist Abby Howard.
A princess. She's very bad and you have to get rid of her for all our sakes.
No, the Princess isn't a “cosmic horror,” whatever that is supposed to mean. She's just an ordinary human Princess, and you can definitely slay her as long as you put your mind to it.
Don't even think about trying to romance her. It won't end well for you.
Hopefully you won't die. But if you do, you'll die a lot. Be careful and stay focused on the task at hand!
A branching narrative where what you say and what you believe determines both who you are and how the story unfolds. Though I wouldn’t recommend taking any paths outside of the one I lay before you.
A new roleplaying experience from the creators of Scarlet Hollow.
Slay the Princess is a choice-driven psychological horror visual novel/dating sim with dramatic branching, light RPG elements, and hand-penciled art.

A new ending. And hopefully one that saves the world rather than damns it.

i am a cabin in search of a bird
I adore this game. The key is absolutely to not look anything up before you get it, no playthroughs, nothing. The Blind Experience is the best experience. There are so many paths, twists, surprises that all wander between horrifying, funny and heartwarming. The story is so rich, deep and thoughtprovoking. The artwork is amazing, and accompanied by a beautiful score. And the voice acting, absolutely amazing. I can't wait to explore all the other paths. This is a love story.
super good game the voice over is super good and the art is gorgeous the writing is impressive the story twists your expecations every pplay through reveals somthing new if you like visual novels i highly recommend !!!
I bought Slay the princess almost two years ago exactly, I picked it up whilst it was on sale with a handful of other games, at the time I booted it up for maybe 10 minutes before deciding that I was in the mood to play something else. For two years it sat in my library and I paid it no mind until recently when I decided to have another look. Let me say that this is a game that deserves to be played. I never would have expected this game to be what it is. I never thought that this would be one of my favourite games of all time, but here we are. Slay the princess is a heart-wrenchingly beautiful experience, one that even now I struggle to put into words. If you can go into this game with as little knowledge as possible, then do so, look up nothing, let this wonderous piece of art speak for itself. Slay the princess is a visual novel with a very basic concept but that has such immense breadth of character to it, I initially believed I was in for a short and sweet psychological horror but was met with one of the most compelling and hauntingly beautiful narratives I have ever experienced. The game so organically through it's masterful writing and genuinely gorgeous hand drawn art tackles themes of fate, death, suffering, love and tragedy. Combined with absolutely incredible performances by the voice actors, every single line of dialogue within this game, of which there are many thousands, is perfect. All of these elements are also accompanied by one of the most enchanting game soundtracks which, even after many, many hours never dulls in it's beauty. I won't say anymore. I don't feel like I have it in my vocabulary to actually do this game justice in terms of a review and nor do I have the words to describe the intense and raw emotions which this game has made me feel, even now this game has a grip on my heart, and I don't want it to let go. My only regret is that I didn't play this game sooner, and now that it's done I only wish I could see more. Even after writing that out I feel like I have only scratched the surface of my love and appreciation for this game. To ignore it is to do yourself a great disservice, this game is easily a 10/10 and I can't recommend it enough.
ABSOLUTO CINEMA, ARTE PURA
jogo super interessante, adorei essa coisa de sua resposta mudar todo o rumo do jogo.
"The Player told me She keeps consuming his Princesses so I asked how many Princesses he has and he said he just goes to the cabin and gets a new Princess afterwards so I said it sounds like he's just feeding Princesses to Her and then The Smitten started crying" -- The Cheated, probably
Acabo de terminar o jogo, e penso já em re-jogar. Estou também, totalmente sem palavras para descrever o que acabo de jogar... É simplesmente, ótimo! Um jogo que todo mundo deveria jogar.
