About
In the Void, blood is cheap, but Bones are the only currency that matters. Violence rewards you with the remains of the fallen, and the faster your clearence, the richer the harvest. Return your spoils to the Astrarium to trade with the Smith, the Huntress, and the Twins to unlock the sacred instruments of slaughter.
Carve through packed enemies in wide, bloody sweeps, crush anything in your path with brutal forward charges. Hook into prey and drag yourself straight into the kill before the first body hits the floor.
Secondary weapons let you kill beyond arm’s reach, while relics change what your body can do: stronger kicks, reflected shots, explosive force, and second chances when the Void should have taken you.
The right build does not just help you survive - it lets you reach maximum slaughter.
You die in one hit. Most things you fight do too. The difference is who reaches the killing blow first. Stack kills quickly enough and your speed condenses into momentum, a sliver of grace that eats the next fatal blow for you. Lose it, and you are back to the same fragile thing the enemies are. However, as long as your style and execution is flawless the gods won't let you die and you can truly be INVINCIBLE.

Just a crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good time, great art, great gameplay, killer soundtrack. It's like hotline miami meets pulp fantasy and metal, don't sleep on this ♥♥♥♥
Brutal, high octane, fist-clenching white knuckle action. Imagine Hotline Miami but Eldritch Horror with a Metal/Synth soundtrack. I couldn't stop playing it until I rolled credits, and the race to grab all the highest medals and earn a spot on the leaderboards is addictive and adds replayability. I got the game with a steam key, but would happily pay the price for the experience. Works well on Steamdeck and with a controller, too
YES!!!
Combination of power metal vibe and adrenaline pumping challange. Very cool yet very indie.
Hardcore slash and bash. It starts to shine once you start getting ultra speed. Sometimes you get lost in all the colors but overall once you lock in even restarts are fluid. Brutal, fast and feels nice to splash when they line up behind the door.
Finished the demo and immediately had to get the full game, I've only beat the first 3 sections but it is great so far. Take Hotline Miami and replace 80s Miami Synthwave Fever Dream, with Sword and Planet Heavy Metal Barbaric Badassery, and you have Slaughter Void.
Fast Paced and Hardcore. When the music kicks in and you are just slamming run after run trying to beat your friend's highscore is when the game truly shines. Beautiful art and a wide variety of weapons/trinkets(to diversify gameplay) ties everything together to make something great.
Awesome game with a great aesthetic, crunchy feedback, and addicting gameplay. I played the demo till 4am fighting my friend for the leadboard. The full game is more polished and the story is clearer. If you like hitting the r key to restart until you have the best time or ripping through levels like a demon I think you will enjoy it. Now if I could only remember how to get sub 6 seconds on the first level
This game broke the R key on my keyboard!!! Just kidding. But I did use it a lot (to respawn after each time I died). You'll be glad that respawning is instantaneous so you can just go and go and go. The soundtrack absolutely shreds. I found myself headbanging while playing and I bet I'm not the only one. If you like the demo you'll definitely wanna buy it! Reminding me of Dark Souls, there's a whole cosmology and lore to the story that went right over my head, but I might go back to get all the speed times and unlock the tomes where you can read that stuff. But all of that was totally optional so yeah--just kill everything and win the game is a great way to play too.
Hotline Cimmeria!
