if you like an xcom knockoff with great art, clunky combat that is also boring and frustrating and slow, *and* no customization or depth, then this is the game for you I guess
Keeps on soft-locking which which forces the player to restart at the previous save . The save which is made at the last battle.
Game has bugs that will destroy your experience with it. Happened to me on 2 runs where the opponent unit shot me twice at the same turn ruining the whole battle. I would have zero complaints if it wasn't for this.

Hard, but not way that feels like you have a chance. You can cheese fights, but that's not fun either. Pity, it looks really nice.
I couldn't get into it, I really like the graphic style and the theme, but the combat was super boring and I couldn't know when I was going to be able to shoot someone. I'm sure I'm missing something, but it just didn't hooked me in. Exploring is just popping up texts, troops are 4 classes all the same... very basic game.
Got to Aztec City and defeated the King on Easy - It took about 9 hours, so I will try again with a different race on Normal, which is reportedly much harder. Although Easy was no cake walk. I lost a lot of crew members but was able to replace them with drifters, and Elites that I defeated along the way. I ran out of food or petro a couple times so had to make some hard and sometimes gruesome decisions. I like the fact there is an Easy mode so I could learn the ropes and don't have to rage quit before I see what the game has to offer. More games with permadeath should offer this option. The artwork, which has a Mad Max vibe, is outstanding and the turn based battles are fun and not too long. You traverse the wasteland in your war wagon (Dozer) and have FTL type encounters which may or may not result in a battle. I had as many beneficial encounters and bad encounters so it was good balance (unlike many other roguelikes). The different factions you encounter, like the Rogue IA or the Mutants, all have their own dialects which is very well done, and reminds me of A Clockwork Orange.

Fun simple tactics based game. Shame it's been de-listed. A little bit of a learning curve, but if you have experience with turn based tactics games it shouldn't be a problem. BLITZ mode is a little broken to make playable, but it's nice to see a dev thinking of different ways to play TBS games.
