Very promising little arcade heli game
... great game with intuitive helicpter flying. Many variation missions. No boring.
Leider ist der Untertitel etwas zu klein und die Aufträge nur auf englisch und nicht nachlesbar aber es spielt sich gut
There is a lot fun in this game! I hope dev will continue to update it and add content! New callouts and scenarios will be great! New maps also! I am in love with this game!!!
Amazing! All the other reviewers comparing this to the excellent (old as dirt) SimCopter are spot on. This game totally takes me back and I've loved every minute of it so far. Normally I do not buy games without there being some kind of sale, but I so enjoyed the demo and felt the dev 100% deserved as much profit off this game as possible. Also loved the fact that the progress I made in the demo fully transferred over to the full game. If you are at all interested in this game please give it a go! The demo has LOTS of features and was what really swayed me to buy the full game. Keep up the great work dev! Look forward to the future of this game!!
Recommended If you ever spent hours buzzing rooftops in SimCopter back in the day, this scratches that exact itch. SkySavior nails the nostalgia and then some. The helicopters feel great to fly, the missions are genuinely fun, and even in its current early state I've already sunk 20 hours into it without noticing the time go. It's still in development, so go in knowing that, but the foundation here is rock solid and I'm honestly excited for where it's headed. Easy to recommend already. Three things on my wishlist for future updates: Draw distance needs work. I'd love to actually see what's coming up further out instead of everything past a certain range going blurry. Right now it limits how much you can plan your approach. Chopper handling could use a bit more snap. I want to be able to whip from a hover into a fast 180 spin and then immediately reverse the other direction. More responsive yaw would make the flying feel a lot more alive. Controls need more flexibility. Let me remap keybindings on the controller, and ideally use keyboard and joystick at the same time. Right now the input options feel locked down, and giving players control over their own setup would go a long way. Neither of those is a dealbreaker. The bones of this game are excellent and the devs clearly love what they're building. Can't wait to see the updates roll in.
I've had a lot of fun with this one so far. Arcady controls and physics, but that doesn't bother me. There is lots of variety in missons and helicopters, with more on the way. Decently large map, with an editor to make your own. Runs fine on Steam Deck, but you may want to change the default controls and set a bind for the escape key.
A wonderfully crafted throwback to SimCopter. It's a pretty faithful modernization of the title, including the quirkiness of the townspeople and the megaphone lines. A couple of things I'd love to see in line with being a 'SimCopter 2' of sorts: Heli equipment. I like how the different helis have different features that set them apart beyond just speed and seats. I'd love to see some kind of upgrade screen to expand on this, with helis having different upgrade options to either improve within their niche or expand their usage options, etc. An absolute must for me would be the dispatching system. In SimCopter, you could call Police, Fire and Ambulance to your location to react to emergencies that you don't have the capacity for, or ability to handle. Increasing the density of events and adding in this system would be a wonderful addition. It's early days for this title and I am very appreciative of it. The nostalgia hit hard for me so I'm already satisfied, and I am definitely excited to see how the game grows. I hope it gets plenty of love
Have been looking for a game like this for YEARS!!! This is a love letter to SimCopter and then some!! amazing flight dynamics just complete FUN!! a game that you can jump in do some missions and jump out. I've been doing some CRAZY Tactical Landings, I'm completely hooked to the game. Not only that! it has an amazing Map Editor!!!. Create the Map of your dreams with hundreds of elements from terrain, buildings, industries to roads. The sheer fun missions keeps this game fresh and fun each time. Big Thanks to the Developers!!. Keep up the great work and looking forward to things to come.
Spiritual successor to SimCopter
