About
Your brain is in control. And it's hungry.
SKROLL is a strategic roguelite where your own brain is your worst enemy, waking you up every day with the same demand: reach your dopamine quota or suffer the consequences. Your tool is the phone, and your only task is to scroll endlessly to satisfy its increasingly impossible demands.
A run, broken down.
Every run unfolds over cycles of three nights each, and every night lasts for as long as your battery or your sleep can hold out, whichever gives in first. Each cycle also raises the dopamine quota you need to hit before it's over, and the videos you watch along the way become your deck, the feed you're building one swipe at a time.
Clearing a quota is what earns you the good stuff: Obsessions to build around, new content formats to fold into your feed, minigames, upgrades to the resources keeping you alive, and other ways to keep progressing before something in you finally gives out.
Meet increasingly high dopamine quotas or collapse.
Each video has unique effects that forge your survival strategy.
Shape your algorithm with likes and reports, but every decision has its price.
Manage battery, sleep, and dopamine before it's too late.
Two worlds in one screen.
The room around you is real, but what's inside the phone isn't. SKROLL blends processed real world photography for everything happening outside the screen with low poly 3D animation for everything you see through it, capturing that same disconnect between the life you're missing and the feed you can't put down.
Dive into the chaos of the infinite feed.
Every video is a gamble, and every category calls for a different strategy. The algorithm drags you toward increasingly extreme content, and it's up to you to decide whether to give in or resist. On top of that, Obsessions build toward runs that feel entirely your own, favoring the strategies you commit to and turning a good build into a broken one if you lean in far enough. Combine multipliers, unlock unique effects, and discover lethal synergies as you try to survive one more cycle.
8+ content categories, each with different mechanics and playstyles.
100+ unique videos with effects that transform your run.
Dopamine multiplier system with strategic duration and activation conditions.
Algorithm manipulation through likes and reports that alter content probability.
Obsessions that reward your playstyle and turn each run into its own build.
