a sweet 2d scroller-puzzle.
Boring asset flip! It's terribly badly made... Don't buy it, i dont recommend.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Skeleton Runner is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. This time Tero stole a basic skeleton asset and some other junk and tried to make a platformer with it. It's pathetic just how terrible it is, but of course Tero has his hand out, once more, for your money, so he can get paid from someone else's work. It would be funny if it wasn't so unethical to run these kinds of scams on Steam. But scamming is what Tero does. Mixtor/Tero Lunkka have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games (as Ruskija game experience)
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
"Fancy the Frog" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG v3 developed by Easy Systems
"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at around 1440p, there's no support for the state-of-the-art 4K or higher resolutions. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Skeleton Runner didn't appeal much to the people who own a copy of the game, either. It has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game didn't really capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for Passing the first wave, trivial to get, but less than 35 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. Hardly a success story, gamers just weren't all that interested in the game. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Skeleton Runner is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The "developer" (using one of his many shell accounts) admits this is an asset flip... taking someone else's work and trying to get your money for it. The developer fails to acknowledge the numerous asset flips I've already warned gamers about. The developer demands that because they have not yet been arrested and jailed, their intellectual property theft and license violations are "okay". They are absolutely not "okay". They are highly amoral... intellectually and morally bankrupt. Harmful to gamers. Harmful to genuine indie developers who do the right thing. Harmful to Steam. Asset flippers like this give Indie developers a bad name. Gamers, let's discuss why this asset flipper has willingly and deliberately breached the Epic EULA they signed and then violated in an attempt to profit from harming gamers: https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/eula/content Section 5, Subsection C
You may not: i. attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble, or derive source code from Licensed Content; ii. sell, rent, lease, or transfer Licensed Content on a “stand-alone basis” (Projects must reasonably add value beyond the value of the Licensed Content, and the Licensed Content must be merely a component of the Project and not the primary focus of the Project);
Emphasis mine. The developer admits to deliberately violating license agreements for profit. Why is this allowed on Steam?

Good Like
I don't know. Some levels were good to play and then there were some levels where I just wanted to punch this game back into unity asset store. Levels with obstacles (especially those Karate Kid practice things) are annoying as hell. In one level they just push you off (at least for me) but you have to use them to platform and reach the next stage. Wasn't fun at all and kinda destroyed my positive opinion from the first few levels. Fall damage is kinda random as well (it seems). I sometimes died by falling a small distance while other times I could fall for ages and survive. Wall-Jumping, oh man. I don't know, it also felt like random. Often times the character would stop jumping from the wall and just fall/slide down. Its really not that hard to press the jump button, so I certainly won't take the blame for having issues with it.. :D The puzzle are ok, nothing to crazy which is good considering I hate puzzle games. I mentioned more negative stuff but those are like 2-3 levels out of 9 (so far) which overshadowed my experience but overall its not a terrible bugged games like (Nash Racing).
Skeleton Runner - to prosta gierka platformowa 2d w której używając wall-jumpów oraz wciskając przyciski próbujemy dotrzeć na koniec poziomu. Da się zdobyć wszystkie osiągnięcia. ✅ Polecam 👍😎
This game is art. To a likes all other games in the platforming genre could never aspire to reach. This game has a rich and complex story, flowing with character development. The main character, Skeleton John. Has been wrongly sent to hell after dying in the great skeleton war. He must collect all sacred 9 wishing stars in order to escape his torment and see his wife and kids once again. The platforming is skillful and makes you truly feel like you are a greek god once you overcome its hurdles. This game deserves to win every gaming award created by mankind! It truly is... SKELETON RUNNER
NO... JUST NO!
Boneheaded walljumps
It's an ugly platformer with asset flips of speed boats and armored vehicles. No story so far and just minor logic puzzles. Use switches to flip platforms, doublejump and reach the stars anyhow.
