its an alright experience but from time to time there are some major bugs like when i was viewing a photo, it hardlocked me so i had no choice but to ALT + F4 out of the game
This game is very mid, I wish I wasnt past the playtime limit for a refund. Dont get this game, the acting is really cringe and the horror is just gone. The puzzles are also way too easy and theres no feeling of investigating the phone as much as the first two games. You look at google maps and messages and thats all really.
this game bored me so bad that i refunded it. It felt nothing like simulacra 1 and 2, both of which i enjoyed enough to play through twice by this point. There's not enough supporting characters and the simulacra is terrible compared to Pretender from 1 and Rippleman from 2. I do not suggest playing this game, it is not worth it.

nice
cool game (:
(i played this game in 2024 but now i remembered to write a review lmao) im a big fan of the series since the start, and simulacra 3 is my first time i get to try simulacra by myself (i watched markiplier in 1 and 2..mmm fond memories), and to be honest..im kinda disappointed. the fact that not many people play it or talk about sim 3 already show that the game is a bit underwhelming. even 2 years after the game release, i accidentally stumbled on this game and acknowledged its existence. its a mid game, an "alright" type of game. it doesnt really give me the thrill and anticipation like the first two games. this is just like a puzzle game. horror? almost none. some lights flickering and glitches here and there and thats all. after i finished the game, i told myself "was that all?". i know im a coward but give me some more jumpscares ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. the acting was fine, i guess. some scenes have the cgi and green screens..kinda too obvious...the older games have some really convincing acting and really good cinematography. nevertheless, the cast did their best and they really put their heart into the act. overall, i think this is the "worst" game in the Simulacra series, but its not a bad game at all. every aspect is worse than the other simulacra games, underwhelming for a simulacra fan like me. if you like puzzle games or just a simulacra fan, yeah, you could try this game out. but if youre expecting horror, jumpscares, or the best simulacra game ever, this is not it. 6/10
Whats up with these small self contanied horror games to get milked to death and murdered out of their identity? first Corpse Party now this, Simulacra 3 is a soulless re attempt of making another found footage horror title with its immersive experience Except it isnt, immersion is compelety gone as apps like Jabbr or Kimera are mentioned but cannot be used or interacted with, for the sake of cleaning up the gameplay both apps are merged in Atlas and only neccesary aps are traced or downloaded as opposed to previous games that restores whatever was lost instead of inventing new ♥♥♥♥ Mechanics are same as the second game with only 2 new additions, the connection puzzles that you only solve two of and a literal copy of fnaf and not even one of the good games, yes lets lure a supernatural ghost into a different room with a camera using a sound couse we know how fun fnaf 3 was Concept of simulacras are also assasinated to point of no return, simulacras were digital ghosts they possesed apps based on attention, first game possesed Spark (game's Tinder) becouse people seeked relationships there, second game posssed Kimera (game's Instagram) becouse people crossed every line imagineable to be famous so what does the third game do? Well simulacra possesed a FOLKLORE LEGEND yes a FOLKLORE LEGEND not an app even though its a digital ghost through a DRAWN MURAL, you cannot make this ♥♥♥♥ up, no impersonating a profile no suspicious service NO NONONO, someone at the town summoned a LITERAL GHOST WITH A MURAL and thats somehow a simulacra and SOMEHOW can be stopped by power of technology despite having nothing to do with it, only good that came from this story was that its acting, its the best in the franchise so atleast they had enough money to hire better actors gameplay wise its also dull, in first 2 games puzzles were pretty easy and I like the attempt of making them harder but they did it the wrong way, problem wasnt that the answer was easy to get, problem was that every puzzle played the same, second game did it the best as missing stuff was fairly easy, third games puzzles are all mandatory just like first game but they are now so ridiclously subtle that it feels weirdly on purpose like Im meant to waste time here, especially the physcic puzzle that didnt register my clicks Overall Simulacra 3 is just a blatant cashgrab, what was once a immersive self contained found footage horror is now a folklore ghost story with an iphone and combine that with a dry gameplay and butchered immersion there is no reason to play this game skip this one, its not worth it
It's not a terrible game, but compared to the first two, it feels like a step backward.

Maybe I'll change my mind after playing the whole game.
