its good!
I finish the game for the 3 time, i really like it, short, but really nice experience, also it's a great game and it's free, i don't really like this very pixelated graphics, but makes the atmosphere a little more creepy
Silent Residence is a psychological horror game that I found especially uncomfortable because it focuses on a character who cannot trust what he is seeing. I play as Harry, a man dealing with a deeply fractured sense of reality while strange things happen around his apartment complex. I liked the decision to keep the setting familiar because ordinary hallways, rooms and neighbors become much more disturbing when I can no longer tell what is real. The exploration is fairly straightforward, but the environment constantly gives me reasons to pay attention. I walk around the apartment complex, interact with neighbors and friends, and follow the story as Harry's perception becomes increasingly unstable. I enjoyed looking for small changes in familiar places because the game uses those details to create uncertainty instead of relying entirely on sudden scares. The hallucinations and distorted environments are easily my favorite gameplay idea. Rooms can change, people can become threatening and situations that initially seem harmless can suddenly feel completely wrong. I liked that the horror is connected to Harry's perspective rather than simply being a collection of monsters chasing me. The uncertainty makes me question what I should believe, which gives the game a stronger psychological edge. The characters also play an important role in the atmosphere. Interacting with the people around Harry gradually reveals more about his situation, but I never feel completely comfortable trusting them. I liked the way the game uses familiar relationships to create tension because a friend or neighbor can become unsettling without necessarily changing the location around me. The biggest issue is that the experience can feel uneven. Some of the environmental changes are genuinely effective, while other moments feel more familiar and predictable. The combat and interaction systems are also fairly limited, so most of the experience depends on the story and atmosphere rather than deep gameplay. Because of that, the rougher moments in presentation stand out more than they might in a larger game. The pixel based visuals work surprisingly well with the horror. The darker environments and slightly rough appearance make the apartment complex feel isolated and uncomfortable, while the first person perspective keeps everything close to Harry's point of view. The mature subject matter is also handled in a very direct way, so this is definitely a game that can become disturbing depending on how comfortable I am with its themes. Overall, Silent Residence is a tense and atmospheric horror experience that does a good job of making me question what I am seeing. I enjoyed the shifting environments, suspicious characters and focus on Harry's unstable perspective. It is not mechanically deep and some sections are rougher than others, but the central psychological horror idea is strong enough to carry the experience and leave me feeling uneasy after I finished.
