Reviews
i adore this game
It feels so rare to encounter a game whose mechanics, by virtue of their meaning, are interesting to think about in and of themselves. Signs of the Sojourner excels at basically everything from characters to aesthetics to music. 9/10.
This game is super cool in how it mechanically represents conversations in cardplay! I've heard so much praise of this game from critics, and now that I've finally played it I broadly agree! Shocked to see a game I've heard so much about is under 200 reviews.

It kinda says "There's an artful way of speaking." Be a people pleaser where you tried your best making the best convo with everyone Or do what you want while travelling intercity. The story goes so long that you wouldn't be able to finish in one set, many ways to explore the game :)
This game is great, the concept is great and executed well. The characters feel like actual people which is crucial to a game like this and the devs nailed it. There are also a few different branching paths that each have their own lore. Giving the game some replay value. However, no game is flawless and you should also be aware of the flaws. It handles fatigue really poorly. The idea behind this mechanic is great ! but in practice it feels forced and terrible. Second, if you are a linux user (like me) you need to figure out how valve proton works so that the game runs without any issues .
전투가 아닌 대화를 위한 카드 게임. 재밌어요
I didn't think I'd like this game, but as it turns out, I loved it!! I can't wait to play again and see if I can do better next time. I know it'll take many playthroughs to get it right. It's mostly luck and a little bit of skill, and right now I am pretty bad at the skill part. I hope to get better!!
8/10
It is fine.
From what I've already played the game is great! such an innovative and fun way to do storytelling through mechanics. It's sort of a deckbuilder game, but instead of cards representing combat, they represent having conversations, and your aim is not to "defeat" the "opponent" but to communicate, establish connection and understanding with them; different people have different communication styles so your deck won't work for everyone, miscommunication will happen - which means the game is nonlinear and replayable and the more you talk with a person, the more you adopt their style (their cards go into your deck) it's a pleasant puzzle, where instead of trying to make deck that "beats everything" you want to make one that allows you to establish the best rapport with the characters you like the most and complete tasks the story from what I've gathered so far takes place in a post-climate-apocalypse (and a bit solarpunk-ish?) kind of world. You're following the footsteps of your late mom as a trader in a caravan exploring the world and acquiring items to sell in your family store The vibes are so far rather cosy but not in a mindless sort of way, with hints of heavier topics under the surface. it looks great, it sounds great, it's a joy to play It takes a few in-game conversations for the gameplay and story to wind-up, but then it clicks as you get more interesting cards and the world opens up a bit
