SHROUD OF THE AVATAR: FORSAKEN VIRTUES is a multiplayer fantasy RPG that sets the player on a path filled with peril and tough choices as they explore a persistent realm that can be shared with other Avatars. It is the spiritual successor to Richard Garriott’s Ultima games.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

its great for what it offers
From none other than the OG himself, Lord British a.k.a. Richard Garriott, this game is a culmination of Ultima, the series that started it all and It's been hours and hours of fun and satisfaction for me. Garriott is a forerunner, a foundational figure, in the fantasy role-playing game genre, bar none. His games have that certain panache and I've been enjoying his games since the Apple II plus with Ultima III: Exodus and my all time favorite, Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar, absolute classics. Also I must add and mention that Ultima IX: Ascension is top on my list of favorites too. Although I was only able to play Ultima IX in more recent years, and it is one of the very first early 3D games, it still has a great charm and it is still lots of fun to play and be emersed in Britannia's 3d world, from meditating at shrines and cultivating virtue to finding hidden treasures and secret passages, or just mixing reagents for spells and travelling through moongates, Ultima IX is tons of fun to this day. Shroud carries on that special open world flavor and magical lore that started the series, and this one even has Tesla Towers!

It's janky and has a long list of issues, but the community is great and you can have fun here.
The only thing I found interesting was the fact that it has a classless system. Besides that everything is horrible. After playing the starting zone I got lost to where I'm supposed to go. The traveling was slow and confusing, and for some reason you level up super fast. I got to lvl 56 sword, archery, and bludgeoning at the tutorial just afk attack a training dummy. Overall i cant recommend the game.
the game is not bad but it throws alot at you and the learning curve is pretty steep.

Fantastic give UO feeling back
Jogo realmente maravilhoso!
