Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate

エンドロールが出て、そこから少し進めた所で先ほどコントローラーを置きました。 ゲーム性に関してはとても楽しめていました。 賛否両論ある夜システムなども嫌いではないです。 しかしアイテム説明文、まがいものアイテムのセンスがそれら全てを台無しにしてくれました。 育ってしまった敵と相対するシレンではお馴染みの緊張感のある場面で、命取りになりかねない１ターンを掛けて識別したアイテムがまがいものでして その説明文のシャレと、ゲームの状況のギャップに純粋に腹が立ちました。 その困難は無事切り抜け探索を進めようとしたのですが、また嫌な気分になるかもと思うとダンジョンを楽しむ気にもなれず このゲームはそこで終わらせる事にしました。 とても惜しい気分です。 あらゆるジャンルを通して、生まれて初めてバッド評価のレビューを書きました。

I'm not vibing with this game. The constant menu management is very tedious and I don't find the dungeons very interesting as they are just box room connected by hallways over and over. It feels like you either breeze through this game or you step on a warp trap, land in the middle of 5 guys and then get pummeled, losing everything. On top of that, if you crash at all, you lose everything. And these runs can go on for quite a bit. I think you need to really be into this genre to enjoy this.

It is like Azure Dreams, no city building/dating little monster raising. But It took me a while to find a fun mystery dungeon. Azure dreams is the goat. Shiren is good too. the genre is mystery dungeon as both are just that. Go here the place is random you are lvl 1 find item. Azure dreams is a bit easier with the location and items. It has monster raising and training focus. and there is dating, goofy skits, town customization, with a simpler mystery dungeon than shiren to balance it. The flaws with the azure dreams ps1 series were there, like no eggs or even random items in the hunter store the rust trap problem, floor 2 always having Ghosh. The Gameboy version fixed the rust with an oil so you can use other items and not get them too weak. Shiren, is a more punishing push your luck while exploring. So items are the main focus. You can get monsters, they level up and evolve, but they are more temporary allies that can simply run off. Your not just locked into 1 tower they are spread out. there are more types of traps, fake items. You also encounter npcs to recruit, but the do their own thing too. It could be argued that both games take place in different countries of the same world. Shiren has a system where other players can send you a revive. If you can figure it out. Anyways both game are good, i would love to see the monster system in shiren, or the item system in Azure dreams. They both get it right, but lack a little something more the others have. Not in a bad way, just koh was a rags to riches, figure out the mystery, help others. while shiren is just looking for that next adventure mystery helping other on the way.

This game is basically Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for masochists (both are made by the same group). Shiren The Wanderer is a very slow-paced, turn-based dungeon crawler that inverts your testicles, steals your kidneys, and invites your parents to your friend's Discord, all for whiffing one regular attack against a normal enemy that you should've just used a staff on. Tips for people new to this very underrated franchise: run while you still can. JK, it's not that bad. In this game in particular, you just need to carry an Undo Grass everywhere you can, and don't push your luck; warp home when you get the option (Escape Scrolls are good too). You should stick with the Ordinary Stick and Plain Targe as your starting gear, since they level up so much faster than other stronger weapons. Keep Preservation Pots to boost your inventory space, and don't be afraid to use your items (Scrolls and Staves have 100% accuracy, as opposed to your regular attack, which has around 92%). When you get to night-time mode, set Concussive Cannon on all 8 of your necklace slots and kill everything like Goku (it's one of the best necklace skills). Also, if you're close to the end of a dungeon, it's usually better to gun for the stairs than look for items, especially if the enemies are giving you a hard time. Pick your fights, because trying to fight everything is a good way to die. Good luck, and may the winds of Kron always be at your back, or something.

GB版のシレンをやってから久々の不思議のダンジョンシリーズですが、クリアするのが難しすぎて辛いですが楽しいです。

A difficult but moderately addicting roguelike series, and criminally overlooked in markets outside of Japan. If you like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, please, consider giving it's predecessor a try.

８９点(28時間　ストーリークリア） ・不思議なダンジョン系の第２派（１派はトルネコ。その次に来たのが風来のシレン）の続編。 ・評価がいまいちであったので、心配したが、このレビューの低さは、極端に高い人と低い人に分かれていると感じた。自分も途中までは、面白いけどこんな感じか！と思いながら武器を強くしていたが、武器や盾を鍛えるたびに、「難しいけど、こうやってちょっとずつ強くしていくのを楽しむんだな」と思っていた。 しかし、違った。攻略を少し覗くと「合成」の二文字が。この「合成」を「なるほど！」と思った人は、レビューで高評価になるんだと感じた。「合成」は、分かればとても簡単（難しいのもあるにはあるが）で、武器や盾がどんどん強くなる。気づけば、アイテム探しに・・・と思っていたが、自分はクリアしてしまっていた（笑） つまり、「合成」を知ると、難易度も下がるが、一気に快適に、楽しくなるのである。むしろ、止め時がわからなくなるほどになってしまう。合成の仕方は２～３種類あって、壺か敵である。それ以上は、攻略を見て調べると良い。 ・ストーリーもほのぼので、スーファミを思い出す感じで、悪くなかった。BGMは特に覚えていない。 ・やりこみ要素もあるようだが、自分は飽き性なので止めたが、やろうとすれば、１０００回は遊べるかもしれない。自分は、１００回もいかなかったが、十分楽しかった。めちゃおススメ。
