About
ShipCrafter is a naval sandbox combat simulator. Build you ship, unlock new parts, and defeat increasingly powerful foes !
Challenge adversaries in the campaign and liberate europe, or battle your own creations in the custom battle mode, and try to come up with the most efficient and original design.

We are making a game with accurate physics. As such we implemented a realtime buoyancy system based on weight and submerged volume. The ship density and center of mass is displayed in editor, allowing to fine tune your ship and even make submarines using ballasts !
Weaponery physics were particularly cared for as well, with fully simulated shell trajectories considering air pressure, changes in density through the atmosphere, and the influence of speed on shells drag value. Penetration calculations are calculated based on armor thickness, angle of incidence, bounce probability, and shell speed and mass.
1x1m sized blocks for the highest visual and physical accuracy.
Color mode in editor.
Realtime buoyancy simulation even considering ocean waves.
Various armor thicknesses and accurate penetration calculation based on speed, mass and angle of incidence.
Realistic ballistic trajectories even considering changes in the air pressure with altitude. Speeds and distances are however reduced to increase the nervosity of combats (in reality it would take more than a minute to hit a target at 20km).
Adjustable ballasts for submarine designs.
Physics based damages instead of healthbars. Turrets and engines will also lose performance if hit.
Weather system and day cycles, including changes in ocean waves amplitude and rain.
Campaign with more than 50 missions.
More than 20 different ships to defeat.
Custom battle editor, including weather, time of day selection, and bots vs bots naval battles.
Manual and automatic control mode for weaponery.
Realtime fluid simulation (experimental).
Visit your ship in first person view.
Steam Workshop supported.
Raytracing renderer to generate your most beautiful screenshots !
Battleships, cruisers, submarines : this game already supports the steam workshop ! You can share your creations with the community and download other people's ships this way !

A sandbox mode is available in game ! Play with up to 10 people, and enable or disable damage to fight naval battles or simply to show of your ships to others.
You can now create your own scene in ShipCrafter, allowing to modify the sun orientation, add fog and generate screenshots with outstanding quality thanks to raytracing.

Join the discord to post your creations or simply talk about WWII ships and connect with the community !

Shipcrafter is Life, Shipcrafter is Love. Great Community and Fun Gameplay. Its worth the Money! Best Ship building Game out there, could spent another 200 Hours building and chatting in Multiplayer. -Shrimp out :)
This is what Ultimate admiral dreadnaughts should have been.
Very nice navel game you get to build your own ships from scratch or already made hulls. Also you can build subs and even aircraft carriers plus there are free cosmetics!
It runs well, it looks nice in its own simple way, the campaign is awesome but i wish it was co-op as well and maybe a little harder, just a little bit more. Imagine if this game had PVP battles and a techtree of parts you would have to unlock by playing PVP and the campaign could remain the way it is, in a way it kinda functions as a sandbox where you can test your creations against NPCs. Overall the game is worth every penny.
Very fun game for sandbox and battleing make your own boat and if your to lazy to download one from the workshop and upgrade it although fighting the aircraft carriers sucks.
i like this game, cool mechanics, but not all turrets or weapons added in the game but its alright, sad that this game isnt so popular.
Fun litle game and worth the money for the content it provides. Looking forward to new content.
its a good ship bulding game but some thins shold be fix or chang like you shoting yer on planes
Most of the bad reviews for this game are either people misrepresenting the game or getting frustrated at a bug that the dev could fix in minutes. As the developer said before, this game is not supposed to be the next ultimate admiral dreadnaughts. It is supposed to mimic the style and gameplay of old mobile games like battleship craft. Yes the campaign is boring and the battles aren't amazing either. But the building is extremely simple and so much beginner-friendly than other ship-building games. A lot of people hear campaign and think it's some strategic battle with insane complexity and a story mode. My gameplay usually consists of building things for fun and sometimes playing with them in multiplayer Please if you find a frustrating bug, send it to the official discord server and there we can help you. Being ignorant and leaving a bad review after the most minor inconvenience can hurt the game's popularity when it's still this small As an OG i can tell you this game is more of a hobby side-project than anything
it was fun before submarines became way too powerful late game
