About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

This is a great game that I find myself looking forward to playing after a stressful workday. I loved Librarian, and for me, this game is right up there in the ranks with it. The different levels and modes are very enjoyable. I've completed all levels on the No Mana mode and while yes, there are a LOT of books and potions, it was rewarding when finished. When I played other modes, I just used spells to assist with the books and potions, Easy peasy option if you don't care for the amount of these items. No issues with reading labels or differentiating items. The only "issue" I encountered was one missing item, which was easily resolved by a button in the options menu. Other than that, no bugs, no blurring, no problems at all really. It seems the Dev has worked out the majority of the kinks appearing in the earlier days of the game. Some reviews mention multiple colors of certain items, like berries, but this is intentional. The shop items are based on their other game, Teddy's Haven, where you run a little fantasy shop and harvest all the different berries, fruits, etc. As a player of that game as well, it was nice to see the Dev tie the two together by using the items. It kept the cozy feel that I loved so much about Teddy's Haven. Highly recommend if you enjoy tidying up and need a good de-stresser.

Very saticfying game for thoose who love sorting stuff. I enjoyed my 21 hours to complete the gaqme fully with no rush. Did not use magic too mutch. love the game idea and hope it comes more Rooms /Shops to sort either as DLC or free. Warmly recomend this game for young to old
Si eres un loco como yo cumple mu bien ade mas no tiene solo una sala tiene 3 y quieren meter el multi asi q esta bastante guay
I've played a few of this tidy games now and this is probably one of my favs now. I like the atomosphere, the music. I already was playing Teddy's Haven which is made by the same creator so I reconized a bunch of the names and items of things which made me smile. I like that there is different modes and sizes of shops. It's a lot of fun.
This is the best organizing/shelf-stacking game I've played so far. I don't know if the assets are handmade or bought, but they all fit together aesthetically, and the devs did a great job coming up with names and recoloring assets that were reused. This made sorting by hand actually genuinely fun because items were sufficiently visually different, as opposed to having to over-rely on magic/upgrades because the items all blend together, like in some other games in this genre. I also really liked the approach of having 3 different shops of different sizes, which meant you could more easily choose if you wanted to do a relatively quick run, or commit to sorting the 4k item monstrosity.
Organize all the things, Clean up a virtual mess while procrastinating cleaning up your own real world mess. really lovely art style with some punny item names.
Something about this game just isn't doing it for me. Doesn't feel polished and the art just hurts my eyes after a while of playing. I easily sank 20 hours into a similar game, but I was just forcing myself to play this one after the first 2 hours.
Lovely organization game. If you like Librarian, you'll like this one. I appreciate the easter eggs in the item names with even some nods to the Game Grumps and TMNT.
This is everything I enjoyed about the Arcane Library game, but without AI and a lot more variety! Once I saw that the makers got rid of the AI they'd used in this game, I was on board with it. I even bought their other game, and I think it's cute that this one ties in some aspects from the first (same berries, Teddy Bear, etc). It's nice to play a game that has a human touch to it.
From the dev who gave us Teddy's Haven, a run-your-own-magic-shop sim, Shelves and Sorcery has the same vibe, and uses similar resources to great effect. If you like sorting and whimsy, this is your game. With three distinct maps of varying size and multiple modes to play with, there's a lot to do, and a lot of ways to do it. First off, all maps are beautiful, and the mechanics are easy to...pick up. (Forgive the pun. I'm not sorry.) Just wandering around in the shops is enough to make you want to see the rest of the world. The sorting system is very forgiving; as long as it's in the right section, you essentially choose where objects go, which is miles better than the ones that want you to find the exact right shelf. The vibes are cozy.
