About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

addicting and so fun, thankfully there are multiple game modes so i can play to my hearts content
This is one of the best sorting games I've played. I loved the variety of items and the magic etc that you can unlock! I really hope there will be more maps/ items in the future!
Of all the sorting games I played (and there are many), this is the one with the most love in the assets. They are super detailed and nice and I love it. Most other games are just trashy slop but this one is very detailed and especially the potions are just wow. I love to see that this game is done without the use of generative AI. Definitely would recommend if you love the genre! It's pretty chill and relaxing, no stress (only if you create it yourself) and really cozy to play

Finished all 3 Maps in relaxed mode and enjoyed them very much even though it feels a bit tedious sometimes to get enough upgrade points for the magic abilities. Would recommend!
just amazing, i am loving this game!
a very fun, well made organizing game. i look forward to new items and maps!
Dieser Librarian Klon hat mir viel Freude gemacht. Auch Martin würde dieses Spiel Freude machen. Martin glaubt mir das nicht. Sei nicht wie Martin.
I must admit I am a but if a Teddy Bear Games fan. Their other title is one of my top played, much loved market sim. So it was nice to find this and see a lot of the same graphics. It made it feel familiar, while enjoying a new gameplay loop. You can run a timed game, or just chill and sort items. The upgrades are powerful, priced where you have to work for it, and worth getting every one. The items are well rendered and interesting to look at, not just some rough, basic shape of an item. It's another chill title from a wonderful dev. Thank you!
If you like tidying games, you'll definitely like this one. Especially if you prefer ones where all of the items in each area are clearly different so you know at a glance where they go. The dev(s) of this game are very nice and not only included some of their friends in the game via little items matching their online personas, but also gave those friends a ton of Steam keys to do giveaways on their streams. That generosity alone made me put this on my wishlist and eventually buy it when I might otherwise have just dismissed this as yet another clean-up game. And I'm glad I did because it is very fun and I enjoy the variety of objects. My only complaints are that certain settings do not roll over every time you leave a shop and return (so you'll have to toggle on sprint and hold to repeat every time you load in), and that certain items in the second and third shop look so similar to each other that I can't tell the difference between them without looking at the name. There's not a whole lot of items like that so it isn't too bad, but it is a little frustrating. Oh, and the cover of books don't match their actual title, so you have to rely upon hovering over them to know which ones they are. These are basically nitpicks, and make for just a moment of vague irritation in game that doesn't detract from the overall experience. I'm also not thrilled to have to play every level four times to get all the achievements, especially since casual and ranked are honestly the exact same thing, but I enjoy this type of game and the setting of this one enough that it's not a dealbreaker.
