[h1]It took me THAT long to access a level?! Worth it, but with a slight complaint...[/h1]
[i]Sharp[/i] is a puzzle game with a built-in editor that allows you to create your own levels. The story involves you playing as a program collecting data chunks while avoiding the wrath of viruses. Of course, the narrator speaks to you through text nodes, but you can ignore just about everything it has to say if you don't care about the story in the slightest...though it does get a little philosophical if you read through most of them.
Puzzles range from easy to hard with very little expert level areas (I'm looking at you, Reactor's first puzzle!). Each puzzle has its own quirks...be it teleports, switches, viruses activating switches, lasers, or boost pads. Each area is uniquely thought up and with its own challenge. Though my biggest complaint was how to access levels. When I first got this game downloaded, I was trying to click the portals and pressed every single key to access a level. What the game doesn't tell you is that you're supposed to click the TITLE above the portal to access the levels. Clicking a portal should have been enough for that simple task.
All in all, [i]Sharp[/i] is a pleasant experience and I was glad to have played it. If you're looking for a game that will take about an hour of your day, I'd say to look no further than [i]Sharp[/i]. It's quick and pretty easy, though with some frustrating aspects. People who hate light puzzles may be bothered by this one.
