tldr: super enjoyable but insanely unplayable, I have never played a more buggy game. Beyond upset and wish I could refund. The game gets no support or help with fixes. So buy this if you are happy playing every other course successfully. This is hands down the worst game I have played in the last calendar year please DO NOT buy I am begging anyone. It looks fun and cool and it is, but it does not work and is virtually unplayable slop. I could not go five minutes without encountering a bug or an hour without encountering a game breaking bug. So the concept seems cool and I was genuinely enjoying racing until consistent game breaking bugs ruined the experience. So on the city track I fell through the ground into the abyss and after a minute of falling I reset and it happened a few more times, then the island map had an invisible wall where it would claim I got hit on absolutely nothing and reset me over and over. I am extremely disappointed. Buy this game if you want a genuinely unplayable janky piece of garbage that is still in early access despite cranking out dlc and not fixing bugs. So further updating my review. This game is unplayable in its current state. You can best case scenario get an hour or two in before you fall through the map on course 3 of 4 and have to restart everything. This game is an absolutely not recommend even if it were free until they fix that, which they wont.
🚥 Well, it's definitely Early Access, although the game is already starting to receive paid DLC. As a kart racing, it's weird, since you can forget about any kind of balance. There will be moments when you won't understand what's being asked of you, and even the AI sometimes doesn't know how to play on these tracks, which need polishing (this won't happen, since this is a review from a noname). The game says that difficulty levels don't matter here, but I didn't think it was THAT literal, since the difference is barely noticeable (please don't make it harder...) But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't genuinely fun, since it's jam-packed with content and has insane replayability! (It's scary to imagine how long it would take to unlock everything). If you like cringe-cartoony NSFW games, this is a top-tier pick, given the various references to specific and not-so-specific media. It looks excellent, and the potential for expansion is impressive. Great job!
fun but super grindy and annoying at times
Got it on sale because the premise is obviously a little too absurd to be a good game, but I think this is one of the better kart racers I've played in terms of what I'm looking for in a kart racer. A ton of single player stuff and modes, drip fed unlockables and it all feels pretty good. One review stated that the design felt like Diddy Kong racing, which I haven't played in awhile but it does have the same sort of childlike exploration element to it. It also fills a bit of a void, since the Crash Team Racing remake isn't available on pc for some reason. Also, Wild Woody is here. The art is cute, I actually remember that I follow this artist on facebook and I didn't even know she did lewd stuff. There is also a significant amount of it if her art does it for you, but I think it's too adorable to affect me in that way. I think this game gets points for having one of the most absurd crossover characters in video game history, Wild Woody. Somehow they got his voice actor back for it which makes it even funnier. Oh, also the characters are all voiced, I think that's generally a surprising inclusion for a game like this. I don't even think the Nickelodeon racers do this. There are also some other interesting not-in-this-weird-hentai-cinematic-universe things like Bonetown, including the theme. It's one of the few games featured here that I've played and I think it's a pretty good interpretation. I think it has some of the typical downsides you see of indie racers, which are mostly minor gripes but there are a lot. some levels don't flow too well, particularly the destroyed version of the leisure suit larry send up doesn't flow at all, with directional signs being difficult to see, in itself that's something you can learn the track but there are some other small gotchas like a fire hydrant that's next to a boost that traps you unmoving into a corner. Those problems are compounded by weirdly finnicky repositioning mechanics and some characters having impossibly slow acceleration, and it being a boss arena means you're pretty much screwed, especially since it's a boss that trails the entire area with hazards. I think the camera is also a little inconsistent, often not angled correctly for jumps with some levels not showing me the course or player at all as I fall. I also had situations where the damage effect seemed to hit me multiple times in succession so I would just spend a few seconds bouncing around on the ground unable to move, which can be frustrating in a racing game with no rubber banding mechanic. The game is grindy but there is quite a bit to unlock and a lot is given to you through normal gameplay. I can imagine trying to unlock everything would be very obnoxious though. In terms of future inclusions a map would be helpful to see where other racers are. A lot of events are based around knowing how nearby you are to other players and that would help make some of those events feel better to play. I'm also not a huge fan of the rotating events thing, I know they'll come back but I'm not a fan of fomo game design, particularly when I want to just plow through a funny kart racer for a day. Overall, good budget kart racer, I would say ranks better than most licensed character/thing kart racers and the devs clearly care about it. If you're well versed in gooner lore there's quite a bit here for you. Or if you're really into Sonic the Hedgehog references there's also a lot here for you, for some reason. Strange, isn't it?
shady check. lewd check. karts check. every thing you need no more, no less. 10/10
A very solid 8.7/10 game. Always nice to see an H-game that actually remembers the "game" part. Simple, effective mechanics, surprisingly entertaining characters, and a real sense of humor and self awareness. There's definite problems; the game isn't even finished yet after all, just playable. I encounter infrequent stuttering/freezing, some very unbalanced boss races (Silviesaurus especially), annoyingly grindy events and unlock conditions, and content that is currently completely inaccessible because their associated events are over. All in all, it's got issues, as to be expected, but it's a hell of a lot more than "Mario Kart but horny." Also why on earth does this game have a multiplayer mode?
Really fun kart game, with tons of content to unlock, lewd but not porn (i would love more nudity, but that's just me) the only complaing that i have are the boss levels... god, those levels are a pain and not fun at all. add femboys, you cowards!
This game is pretty fun, I think they should totally add my oc for no reason other than it'd be really funny
Steam is telling me I played for 69 hours. I figure now is as a good of a time as any. The game is solid enough, and there's so much I can't fit everything in here, but I'll cover as much as I can. Just know there's a bunch of unlocks with different methods of unlocking them. I'm going to try and focus on the main gameplay elements of the game, but I'm probably going to be missing other important details. Racers have different stats, but karts and accessories don't alter them. The best ones being speed and boost, with acceleration and handling being weaker, but not unimportant. There's a boost system that gives higher speed levels after a drift, jump, or boost pad with each increasing the level up to 5. The tracks are alright, although I do have complaints about the XXXpress' boards feeling almost like walls sometimes and the sewer level's pipe looks like a ramp but it's a wall. Some tracks are smaller focusing on tight turns and shortcuts with a boost, others are fairly large with longer stretches and the (very) rare branching path. All are loaded with hazards built into the map. Most maps will have secret spots or goals that can unlock new characters, karts and accessories, so keep your eyes peeled for any nook you can cram yourself into. The game has items, but most are nothing too new to the genre. 3 different colors of panties, one flies straight and bounces off walls, one has homing, the other is a banana peel. Another item is like the banana peel panties, but it drops a bunch of bumpers in one spot and opponents (or yourself) will bounce off of each of them. There's a shield that breaks if you get hit by something, but if you run into someone while it's active they'll be knocked around. Sort of a weaker version of the star from Mario Kart. One item is a paddle and you can swing it to hit people directly in front of you for a while. Last item I can think of is a meteor shower of panties. They land at seemingly random and can hit you as well as others. There's a few modes to the game: Grand Prix, Free Race, Time Trial, and various Battle Modes. Most of my time was spent in Grand Prix and Free Race, with some time spent in the other modes for the unlocks. Speaking of unlocks, there are events that come and go that feature character, kart, accessories, and skins. There are ways to permanently play them, but you need to buy it with the game's currency. Speaking of... The game's currency is Shadybux. Every coin you grab contributes to this along with bonus items and other rewards. This can be spent on everything from karts, skins, characters, lewds&nudes (the reason you're probably here), and a few other things. In spite of the sheer number of ways to get this currency, it's going to take a LONG time to buy the shops out of everything. Some things are more expensive than others. If you want to play all of the seasonal events at different times of the year, that's going to run you over 60k. Mirror Mode? Another 15k. Most of the lewds&nudes are priced at 250, 500, 750 or 1k. There's over 300 of them. Don't get me wrong: the game isn't stingy, but there IS a grind if you want everything. Back to the main modes: Grand Prix is the primary game mode focused on. Each set of courses has a girl you get a Visual Novel like setup with in between the courses. Give her the answer she wants and you'll get an item, give a wrong answer and you get "Emotional Baggage" an item that slows you down until you get hit. The answers never change, but you'll need to learn and remember them. In this mode, the tracks have "Dating items" grab them and reach top 3 for the race and you'll fill her bar to earn rewards. If the bar is full you get more money. If you get all dating items in one run you get double the points (if you still make top 3). At the end of each Grand Prix is a Boss. This is a bonus round and they don't count towards winning the trophy or not. They are hard and they cheat, but there are rewards for winning (at least the first time). It's rare when they're worth beating twice. You can still get dating items and money during these, but getting them and winning is especially difficult. I say try to win anyway, it's sometimes fun to take on an unfair fight, but I do feel like an extra reward is needed for these. In conclusion, I would say the gameplay itself is pretty good, but pretty grindy if you want to unlock everything. Just do yourself a favor and set the game to hard ASAP. The difference between easy and hard is negligible, but the payout for winning a cup is 500 for easy, 1000 for normal and 2000 for hard.
