As I understand the creator of this game did everything from start to finish. This is very impressive as I'm in the process building a rpg myself and I can truly appreciate the hard work. I really enjoyed the game, it has some very unique ideas with the battle mechanics and there is a lot of attention to detail considering everything was made by a single person. I have to admit, I was sweating a bit in some of the fights and the puzzles are not that easy and I haven't even finished the game yet to start a harder difficulty. Well done, great work
Can't remember why...but there must have been a reason why I asked for a refund.
Steam Deck
First off, if you have any issues with steam deck, look here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1861870/discussions/0/3805027459324205759/
Review
Okay, I've played this enough now to feel confident in leaving a review. The game is REALLY good. What really shines to me is the gameplay, be that the battle mechanics (which have so many variables and unique elements it makes bosses legitimately crazy fun. I can't gush enough about how much I enjoy the battles, and as someone slowly becoming fatigued with turn-based battles, it got me excited all over again) Then there's the gimmicks, and I don't use this negatively at all. The puzzles in certain areas are awesome, and the "a-ha!!" moment I just had today with a boss when looking a little closer at the background was also awesome. Every character serves a purpose and has unique fighting mechanics, like a shapshiter basically having a completely different play style for every (collectable and sometimes hidden on the map) form, and the gunner that needs certain ammo for moves, etc. Even pressing the back button/key right after using a skill to use a special version already adds so much to the fights. Idk, buy it. It's so good. One of the best RPG Maker games Ive played (and I've played a lot haha) Speaking of:
Curator Thingy
I have a curator page if you're interested in some of the more unique RPG Maker games out there! Everything on it is something I bought personally with my own money, so no bias. I usually only put things I enjoyed playing, but if I didn't like it and think others definitely might, or I wanted to share something I personally didn't play (because it looked interesting), I'll mark it as informational. https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45733614/

This game is outstanding! Honestly, it's one of the best RPGs I have played in a really long time. It's not just the great story, the amazing, very flawed, but lovable characters, the interesting game play....the level of detail in everything is so good. I mean, you can tell if you're walking on wood, grass, snow...that level of detail is rare. So many others have described it so well. I have no idea why this game isn't well known and more played. Truly a gem!
