Shadow Bounded

This game feels like it was made by 2 different teams trying to merge 2 different ideas together. Throughout my experience I feel like I am playing between 2 ideas even with just the music and sounds it feels this way. The intro music gives you kind of that 80 classic horror movie vibe but then you have text tones and effects sounds like someone just switch to trendy 2000's movie sounds. It does try hard to put you into the horror experience but seems disjointed. You are immediately dumped off into the woods where no real sense of direction. You get a little bit of story but it never feels like builds. Game is not optimized in any way but this can be worked on and hopefully will be. For some reason the first time loading the game, it never told me how to use inventory or flashlight. Invisible walls cutting you off get pretty annoying but it does cut down on the chances of you going too far and getting super lost. Enemies feel like they trying to scare you more then they trying to kill you. If you going to kill me stab me in the chest not my hair. Fixing some of the animation would more then likely help in this aspect. Even just making controller accessible would of make the game feel better. Many bugs in the game but those could be ironed out. Would advise to give this a little more time in the oven before buying it currently. The horror genre is a tough one to do and this has fallen into those pits so many others have falling into but nothing it can climb out of.

Good Game, very much horror

It has potential, but it just quite isn't there. I encountered several bugs where the monster just broke. I got locked in a room by the lady and had to restart the game because I couldn't get around her and she couldn't come in and kill me. Aside from the technical issues, the horror was okay, but not super great. The story felt lacking and the ending was meh at best.

Very interesting game concept. When I played for the first time, the game had a few things to improve, but they were fixed. The game is just nice.

Horror games are not typically my thing but this game in my opinion does a great job at setting up a creepy atmosphere and ambiance.

This game is really scary, it has a very eerie soundtrack that blends well with the game's atmosphere. Even though it's fast-paced, it has a very fun vibe, with interesting horror elements and challenges in the gameplay. I highly recommend it

SHADOW BOUNDED is an indie horror game set in 1989. You play as a member of a paranormal exploration foundation, tasked with investigating what happened to a couple living deep in Alaska. The game has a few decent jump scares and is quite short, but at some point, it turns into a lot of running in "circles" to find items. Several notes scattered around the location gradually reveal small details of the story. The ending is weird, but I don’t find it particularly bad. No bugs were noticed during the playthrough.
