About
Shadow Alchemist is an isometric pixel art game that blends puzzle-solving and reality-bending alchemy. Awaken in the depths of a shadowy dungeon, you'll embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation that challenges your perception of reality itself.
Alchemical Abilities: Master the art of self-transmutation, unlocking powers that allow you to become invincible, shrink to minuscule sizes, and even create duplicate of yourself.

Mind-Bending Puzzles: Navigate through increasingly complex environmental challenges that require creative use of your alchemical abilities.

Light Combat: Engage in occasional skirmishes with wandering enemies, or use your wit and timing to avoid confrontation altogether.

Recursive Mystery: Experience a narrative that evolves with each "escape," as subtle changes in the dungeon and your own memories hint at a greater truth.
As you delve deeper into the dungeon's secrets, you'll uncover startling truths about your own nature and the reality that surrounds you. Can you master the alchemical abilites, overcome the challenges, and ultimately unravel the mystery of your past?

Nice story. A few janky bits. The puzzle to go through chapters was a bit of a question mark. Still, worth the price.
Nice style and atmosphere. The credits are funny :D

A lot of fun! A short but enjoyable title. Has replayability for achievements and speedrunning. (here from 9gag)
A good game
short but fun. some bugs but nothing game breaking.

The game isn't bad, just a bit disappointing. There's very few puzzles, mostly quite simplistic and the combat isn't really fully developed either. With some more advanced puzzles this would be a great game, maybe some Metroidvania elements and a more open map too. The abilities should be more spaced out and the combinations dived into deeper. As it is, I can't really recommend it, even the movement feels too slow. Also on the Steam Deck there is sometimes an issue with a flashing bar at the top, retoggling fullscreen fixes it - I assume it was due to 16:9 game resolution vs. 16:10 on the Steam Deck.
