Seven Nights Ghost

Didn't expect this game to make me cry, but it did. A really sweet, short game that you should definitely pick up when it goes on sale. My only critique is that some of the cutscenes seemed to move really slowly, but not enough to affect overall enjoyment.

Some games I think really remind us as players that simple graphics and gameplay don't take away from how fun a game actually is, nor how much a story can hit people. In some ways, 7 Nights Ghosts isn't jawdropping, it probably won't win any awards... ...But it's still a very fun, very silly little game that teases with the idea of traditional J-horror, and then ends on a very heartwarming note that was hinted from the very beginning. It doesn't come out of nowhere, either, if you're on top of checking your phone each day. If there's one thing that might bother people, it's that the default mouse turn rate can be a bit slow, and you don't have any sort of run really. However, I personally found that wasn't too big of a deal. You're basically in a studio apartment for all of the game, so it's not as though you have huge ground to cover in which case the walk speed would feel tedious. I also didn't have any issues with the turn speed in the end, since the game gives you audio cues to help you figure out 'danger'. Probably the toughest issue is with the Day 6 puzzles, which can take some figuring out? Beyond that, however, if you have difficulty finding some items, your phone will usually light up in the living room and literally just tell you where those items are lmao. I think if you take the time to explore the area and have something of a decent memory, you'll also vaguely recall "Oh, wasn't something like that over in this area?", and that helps a great deal. Anyway, it's a short game, but it's such a wonderful one that I'll always recommend for those who love j-horror ghost girls. <3

Оригинальная идея и интересная реализация, очень много моментов, где ситуации стереотипные для хорроров, но обыграны иначе, но всю игру чувствуется что у автора не хватает скиллов в разработке игр и у игры буквально нет бюджета. Из-за этого иногда куцые анимации, где-то затянутые сцены, а где-то просто криво работает, но в любом случае хорошо получилось.
