Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

数值、物价、科技树都有点不合理 你是说,我辛辛苦苦搞供应链,生产的金银珠宝礼服只值几十块,一个木板和草做的稻草人能卖999,买一颗种子要花60000吗
It's a fine entry into the medieval colony sim genre. Doesnt have anything revolutionary or disruptive, but the overall concept is there and well implemented. It has some interesting ideas, like faction trading and the Tourism DLC, but those definitely needed some more iteration and fleshing out. Some down points, though. The way to get new animals and new seeds are very limited. The research to get new technology really needed some balancing. And the trading needed some reworking. All in all, a solid and fun game worth your hours. 6.5/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I want to give this about a 6/10, so if it's a recommend/not recommend type of situation, I'll recommend it. I'm a casual gamer and this has just become a little too much complexity to stop being fun for me. There is *a lot* to manage. I'd say it's very close to the feel of Banished, if you've ever played that, but I think this is game is slightly better. I'd say I usually play until *just* when I get to mid game. Games that become too complex become unfun for me at this stage and so I stop playing, but I can see I've probably only played through 25% of this game. I'd give any other game of this genre and complexity a 5/10, but both the rough poly ui and the controls to play (pretty intuitive) add an extra point. I think I bought this on sale, but I normally would not pay for a game like this for regular price. It's not really my niche, but I like to dip my toes in, get my feet wet every once in awhile. This is a game that I can come back to though, should I ever feel the itch again. However, it reinforces my ideas about this genre and the ideas of what fun is for a game like this. My suggestion would be a better tutorial mode where it basically just tells you the optimal building and the placement to teach you about the game, *while in the game*. I think it's really easy to be overcome by disease or broken bones or whatever that you essentially start over with like 2 citizens and you're just holding out until immigrants can come to boost your population again. That isn't fun for me and when it keeps happening each game (despite different build priorities or different settlement spots), I have to then go outside the game to learn about the game and how to play it. I don't want to continue to keep building settlements which keep failing at "stage 4" when there are "100 stages" (analogy). Show me how it's intended to be played, why the choice to pick that building and why it's being placed where it's being placed. I don't know if a system like that can exist, but it would make the game more accessible, I think. TL;DR: it's a little too complex after a certain point which causes the game to be unfun *for me*. 6/10
Developer did not disclose use of AI images. If I'm not mistaken, that's against Steam's TOS. It would not have taken them that long to make the art themselves, especially art that matches the game's simple style.

I think Settlement Survival is fun for at least 50-100 hours IF you have played Banished. It borrows some of the best ideas from Banished’s Megamod, though not all of them, so it feels both familiar and fresh. Pros: -Progressing in Technology is rewarding -Trading is more fun -Who knows what the future holds for this game? Cons: -Wonders are quite lame -Could use one step faster speed option -I still feel like there is room for more products and supply chains
I really love city-building games, and this one feels like “Tropico without the dictator.” You start small, with just a handful of people and barely enough food to survive, but little by little the possibilities expand. There’s no real use for money in town, and trade is handled through simple bartering instead of currency. It all feels very primitive, but that’s exactly the charm—and it’s so much fun. Before I knew it, I had spent an entire day off playing. If you enjoy relaxing, laid-back city-building, this game is a must. Definitely more fun than its price suggests.
Apparently I've played this for 111 hours. As a working mother of two, I have very little gaming time these days, so that should give you an idea of what 111 hours means in my world. It has all the things I like in a strategy town-building game - I get the choice whether I want to deal with invasions and disasters, or just build a peaceful town, I can choose to trade or not trade, I get some choice about the aesthetics of my town and there's all the usual stock management stuff (though it took me an embarrassingly long time to realise I could ban citizens from using certain items that I wanted to save to make into things, e.g. grapes for making into wine). The game can be a bit slow at times, but I've worked out some tricks to speed things up, such as building multiple research buildings to get tech points up quickly. I do think the combat mode needs a lot of work though. There's no town to invade, there's just a countdown until the bandits show up and they are easily taken care of with some strategically-placed towers, even as they level-up over time. You can build up armies and go take out the bandit camp, but then they just pop up somewhere else and it's the same thing all over again. I feel like if they built a rival town that you could go and raid it would make combat mode way more fun. But basically as it is right now, I don't bother to play that mode anymore as it's boring and repetitive. I do keep the disasters on though to make things more challenging and interesting. Overall, if you liked the old settler games you'll enjoy this game. Definitely worth giving it a go.
Too many game-breaking bugs to actually make it worth your time. It is a good game otherwise, but still needs time for development.
