Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As if retail wasn't hell enough...
You're the last poor soul manning a beat-up roadside shop in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. The world's gone to hell, but somehow your "Open" sign still flickers. Between lunatic customers, long shifts, and the occasional undead trying to snag a snack, you're keeping the business alive - barely. Because even in the apocalypse, someone’s gotta work retail.

Part visual novel, part chaotic flash-game shooter, SWAS is a wild ride through survival customer service, and the weird bonds we forge in unexpected circumstances. Blast your way through zombie hordes, slap together last-minute defences, and deal with a rotating cast of desperate, and sometimes deranged regulars.

Every chapter in SWAS cranks up the chaos with wild twists, new characters, and new threats. What starts as a simple shift quickly spirals out of control. Shoot straight. Talk fast. Surely nothing can go wrong. Right?

Probably the best blind purchase I've made on steam.
It's a great game. Short and sweet. Don't take things seriously and get in looking for a fun time, you'll find one.
Cool game, would love to see the gameplay expanded in a sequel

I finished a full run on Normal in roughly 2.5 hours, closer to 3–4 hours with some extra time, and completed the game 100%. In the end, it left me with a mixed feeling. The game is quite short, which would be fine on its own, but you barely get any time to really connect with the characters. On top of that, the gameplay switches very frequently across the 5 chapters, sometimes abruptly, which makes the overall experience feel a bit unfocused. You start with a bit of base building, which then gets taken away almost immediately. After that, it turns into mostly pure PvE gunplay, followed by base building again — this time with randomized items. The issue is that out of what feels like 10 possible defensive options, you only ever see the same 2–3. Then it goes back to gun action, introduces a small skill tree… which later just disappears. Many systems feel introduced but never fully developed. Replayability is very limited. Sure, you can replay the game on a higher difficulty, and that might be enough for some players, but it didn’t really motivate me. An endless mode or something similar could have helped make better use of the existing systems. The art style and presentation are clearly the game’s strongest points and leave a good impression. Gameplay-wise, though, it doesn’t stay consistently strong. Chapter 5 and the ending, in particular, feel empty and underwhelming. Final Verdict: Overall, a 6/10 — stylish, with some cool ideas, a bit short which is not a bad thing but its to inconsistent and missing real long-term appeal despite the small building mode.
SERVICE WITH A SHOTGUN is a game with a neat premise (visual novel + wave shooter = delightful contrast) that gets a little too manic with experimenting with new mechanics instead of building off existing ones. For example: the game begins with the ability to purchase traps and blockers to coral the zombie horde into killzones; by the second chapter that gets abandoned. By the third chapter, it kinda returns by as a gacha and you have to hope you pull the blockers you need? And by the fourth, it gets abandoned again and you get a skill tree system to upgrade your gun which is the one and only way to take on the zombie horde. Also, the game briefly turns into a poor man's NEON WHITE. Any one of these systems would have been fine for the entire game - the constant switch-up is just... a little odd. Speaking of weird choices: the narrative goes from you filling in the shoes of a stressed-out shopkeeper in the post-apocalyptic wasteland to becoming the deadliest speedrunning boom shoot parkour expert who is the only one who can save the one scientist in the entire world with the cure for the zombie virus. And like. Okay? Sure, that's a fun place to take the story, I guess? And yet! I was never bored. Even when I questioned some of the half-baked gameplay design and absolutely wild plot twists: those thoughts never stuck around long enough to really annoy me (game's pretty short!) and ultimately I was having fun with the silly plot and characters!
A wild but fun story :) Thanks for the game! Also it helped me read faster so kudos
very good game, spoiler alert you can move around and use a shotgun in chapter 4
Got it for $5 and it was short but also had more in it than I expected. Achievements are pretty easy to 100%, just keep in mind that if you restart a chapter it also deletes progress you may have made into future chapters. (if you have completed 4 chapters and restart chapter 2, chapters 3 and 4 will be gone) There's also a difficulty slider for another replay if you found it too easy.
Breakdown: Graphics: 8.5/10 - Nice Pixel animation with some varied 3d mixed in. The design and atmosphere was fantastic from start to finish. Story: 8/10 - Pretty straight forward with a few choices that don't really change anything, but the story almost has a clerks in fallout vibe that makes you fall in love with all the characters. Gameplay: 8/10 - Visual novel, where you talk to npc's on front screen and then shoot zombies and build defenses by moving left or right while managing it all. There's a few surprise moments I don't want to spoil where the game goes literally off the rails. It's nothing that's ground breaking, but for a short sweet visual novel it carries itself well. Overall: 8/10 - Charming would be the word. You can tell the developer put a lot of love into the game from the graphics, story to the music. The end song is catchy and really makes you feel like you sat through a short animated movie. I highly recommend grabbing this one and playing through it in a day or over a few nights and support the developer. Looking forward to more from them and hope that one day we may get a sequel or revisit these characters.
This Visual Novel is HEAT!!!
