About
Serpent’s Gaze is a punishing 1-4 player co-op third-person action game where you fight tough enemies and relentless bosses, all while uncovering the secrets of an ancient desert.
Choose your favorite weapon and fight tough enemies in heavy, tactical combat, with a plethora of different upgrade possibilities. Fight your way through handcrafted levels, and face the bosses – as many times as you need.
With support for up to 4 players, you can face the challenges of the world together with your teammates, or play at your own pace alone.
As you progress through levels, you find upgrades along the way – blessings from strange deities, gifts from your patron and strange relics to utilize in your pilgrimage. Choose wisely and explore endless builds and strategies.
The Curse system introduces random variables every run – everything from minibosses hunting you, to environmental hazards that keep new runs fresh and challenging.
The Awareness system brings even more challenges, making each successful run progressively harder.
Battle through imposing environments inhabited by different factions. The desert and ruins belong to the nomadic Majin, while the city with its cathedrals is inhabited by the proud Attar’Esh.
You are a scion – brought to life by the withering tree god Magnolia, with the sole purpose of vanquishing the opposing gods and usurpers who currently rule the lands.
There is only one way to make the desert bloom again - violence.

Amazing game for its current stage. I'm having a lotnof fun with my friends who plays elden ring and darksouls style games. Very polished and a good amount of content at its current stage.
I know that this is just a 15 bucks game, but i do enjoy this so much at first. But seriously the balancing, combat and hitboxes. Need Serious Major overhaul. No Parry, No Backstab. No deflect. The block felt clunky. The combat could felt a bit jank sometimes. IIdk, maybe i got biased with others soulslike tittle and endded up putting unfair expectations. I do really enjoy this game tho, it's a great co-op with friends. But i really hope you guys make it through the early access era and release it with much more polished combat andd balancing. If the update coming better, i will change this review.
I wish I could vote yes on this, but it just has so many issues. The main problem is that it is a blatant Dark Souls clone, but with no new ideas and far far less content. There's like 10 weapons you can use in this game. Even Dark Souls 1 had dozens and dozens. There were some cool bosses, but all of them were defeated easily. And again, no new ideas there, just inferior bosses to Dark Souls. If you like this kind of game, then just go play Dark Souls 1, 2, 3, Elden Ring, Nightreign, Demon Souls, Bloodborne, and all their DLCs. There is a limitless amount of content that is just flat out better in every way. It's fine to be inspired by a game, but you have to add something of your own to it, do something novel or interesting. This game I beat with my friend in 4.5 hours. There's hardly any content. On top of that, there's hardly anything you could call a "build." Buying this game is like going shopping for a puppy and instead of choosing the several available to you, you grab some roadkill on the street and pretend it's the same thing. It's just worse than what it's imitating in every single conceivable way.
by act 3 and onwards of whatever path you choose enemies are so overtuned. the enemies are just meatballs you're putting 20 dmg into over and over and they have what feels like thousands of health. not fun, literal ticklefest. the meta is to just ignore the extras, run through the map straight to the boss. why would you fight the enemies anyways? the enemies are gonna drop maybe 10 blood for the entire map that you're gonna use to buy a 5% damage buff at a merchant. rezaa is ridiculous LOL. his is so tanky and the adds he summons... can you even consider them adds if they have as much health as him? remember- you're tickling for 20 damage max the whole time! gatekeeper batoush is overtuned and not fun. way too tanky and the dashing across the arena move is way way to ridiculous and frustrating. its easy to roll through but the immediate recoil when he bounces off the wall it belongs in a mario game it looks so stupid. when an enemy is attacking me/im taking damage in a store, kick me out of the store. hard of hearing people cannot hear the cues that damage is occuring. why doesnt killing a boss give you blood. like any at all? mages are super overtuned. really unclear whats hitting you sometimes. sometimes red explosion just happens. you'll just get blown away for 25% hp. the backswings are too unforgiving, glancing hits etc. curses come immediately before any significant blessings come. i need rewards that come with or before punishment. you get nothing considering how ineffectual and weak the buffs feel. the rewards dont have a stimmyness to them. and the curses are "the most annoying enemies come! and they are very tanky and drop nothing!". the turtleish enemy with long arms wearing a robe is very overtuned and unclear to read what its doing in a frustrating way. slides around and just one shots you. the hand curse- they just drop out instantly from the air, no indication, no sound. lmao. change that. its ok. we got a few giggles out of it. just an average game with a lot of issues before its a good game. its hard to believe there was a balance team of play testers for this game. it feels like the devs just cranked their stats up and played through it to make sure it worked. perhaps they didnt balance for parties of 3-4 well?

very fun soulslike rouge its art style is great
You cant dodge what so ever
Très bon jeu pour le moment !
Quite fun. Could use some more map content but the post boss interactions are nicely varied and cool. Would argue though that encounters in between stages should reward you with healing charges after you beat them.
Вполне неплохая, для любителей соулслайков. Много разного оружия и классов для прохождения.
