Serment - Contract with a Devil is a visual novel/dungeon crawler hybrid featuring highly tactical turn based RPG battles, challenging dungeon puzzles, optional minigames and most importantly, a lot of cute anime girls.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 14 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm very mixed about this one score. RPG part is very mediocre. But for the fact that I did not dropped it halfway so I will give it 6/10, barely passed.
GOOD

Cute art and heart warming-ish story.
RPG/combat is merciful and not punishing. HP is refilled every battle. You just lose some G from getting party wiped. etc. Only the last boss battle that is tricky and need best planning.
Deadline objectives are very relaxed/merciful, So no crazy/serious optimization play required, good for casuals. At mid game, game only ask for 10,000G deadline at the end of the week, while I can make up to 100,000G alone per day.
But as some review pointed out, if you beat the game and got NG+ the game let you skip the gold grinding, which is good QoL for getting all endings.

BAD

Weird eco design: bringing friend into dungeon will cut your money pay. But in the end it is you who will pay money for their stat upgrade. So most of the time you will want to solo the dungeon to grind for money. Only bring friends when you want to fight boss, etc.
Cooking has no practical usage, it uses your precious time (to grind for money at dungeon) to make one. I can defeat floor 7 last boss without using any cooking.
More pointless system: Fishing, why waiting for pointless animation to fish? just subtract the time and give me the reward, or have on/off option to do so. And as fishing is a way to find ingredient for cooking (which is already pointless) it makes this whole system pointless.
The game being made in Renpy (Python VN engine) is not very responsive, esp in RPG part, sometimes tapping 5 times and character move only 4. Very annoying in floor with lots of corners where you have to move/turn/move/turn repeatedly.
I'm not sure if this could be a good game or not. The controls are beyond rubbish. When I use the keyboard I feel like I should be using a controller, when I'm using a controller it feels like I'm missing controls, the mouse seems to not be able to click on some things, like it wasn't designed for mouse use either. It feels like they couldn't decide on what they wanted to use.. I've played cheaper similar games with no problem. Feels like something from the mid 1980s when menu systems were in it's infancy. Of the cheap sub-$20 dungeon crawlers I've been trying out recently this is the only game that's totally weird like this. The game could be great otherwise, I don't know, because the interface is distracting me from the experience.
good game that you can just play w/o stressing out ....and just to highlight there's nothing here +18 so dont worry

I got it for ~$5, worthwhile at that price.

Serment - Contract with a Devil is an ambitious independent RPG that mixes visual novel storytelling with first-person dungeon exploration to create a surprisingly memorable adventure. Developed by Nkt Studio and published by Sekai Project, the game begins with an attention-grabbing premise: a young woman is revived after death through a pact with a devil, only to learn that her second chance at life comes with a steep price. She has a limited amount of time to settle her supernatural debt before the consequences catch up to her. While the setup hints at a grim and serious tale, Serment quickly establishes itself as a lighter and more character-focused experience, balancing fantasy themes with humor, friendship, and everyday activities. Much of the game's appeal lies in its cast. Rather than centering on a single protagonist, players gradually become acquainted with several heroines, each with their own personalities, motivations, and narrative paths. The story embraces familiar anime conventions, but it does so with enough sincerity that the interactions remain enjoyable. Character events are plentiful, and the inclusion of multiple endings encourages players to revisit the game to uncover alternative outcomes. Fans of relationship-driven visual novels will appreciate how much time is devoted to developing bonds between characters, particularly through its light romantic elements and numerous side events. Outside of its narrative, Serment offers a traditional dungeon-crawling experience viewed from a first-person perspective. The handcrafted dungeons are among the game's strongest features, as they are filled with hidden items, environmental puzzles, and enemies that require more than simple button-mashing to overcome. Exploration feels rewarding thanks to a generous assortment of equipment and collectibles scattered throughout the adventure. The decision to avoid randomly generated maps pays off, as each dungeon feels intentionally designed with its own layout and progression. Puzzle segments provide occasional breaks from combat, helping maintain variety across lengthy play sessions. Combat follows a turn-based structure that is approachable without becoming completely mindless. Party members possess distinct abilities, encouraging players to experiment with different combinations and strategies. Managing resources becomes increasingly important during extended dungeon expeditions, especially when healing items are limited and stronger enemies begin appearing more frequently. Although veterans of the genre may find the mechanics somewhat straightforward, the system remains entertaining throughout the game's runtime and complements the dungeon-crawling elements effectively. One of Serment's more interesting additions is its life simulation aspect. Players are not solely focused on clearing dungeons and advancing the plot; they are also responsible for managing their time wisely. Activities such as cooking, fishing, and crafting offer useful rewards while contributing to the game's relaxed atmosphere. Choosing how to spend each day creates an enjoyable balance between progressing the main objective and strengthening relationships with companions. The looming deadline tied to the protagonist's contract gives these decisions additional weight, ensuring that the time management mechanics feel meaningful rather than tacked on. The presentation is modest but charming. Character artwork is expressive and suits the game's overall tone, while the soundtrack provides a pleasant backdrop for both quiet conversations and dangerous dungeon excursions. Although the production values are understandably limited compared to larger RPGs, Serment demonstrates a clear artistic identity that remains consistent from beginning to end. Its anime-inspired aesthetic will not appeal to everyone, but players who enjoy visual novels and Japanese role-playing games will likely feel right at home. That said, the game is not without flaws. The pacing can occasionally drag due to lengthy conversations, and some dungeon segments overstay their welcome. Certain gameplay systems, particularly the side activities, feel somewhat underdeveloped and could have benefited from additional depth. Likewise, players who are not fond of anime tropes may struggle to connect with the cast and storytelling approach. However, these shortcomings do little to overshadow the game's strengths, especially considering the scope of what Nkt Studio set out to accomplish. Serment - Contract with a Devil succeeds because it confidently combines multiple genres into a cohesive package. It may not revolutionize visual novels or dungeon crawlers individually, but its blend of storytelling, exploration, character interactions, and life simulation creates an experience that feels distinct within the indie RPG landscape. For players seeking a lengthy adventure with memorable characters and a mixture of gameplay styles, it offers plenty of value and a surprisingly heartfelt journey beneath its supernatural premise. Rating: 7/10

An awkward and derivative dungeon crawler/sim/visual novel hybrid that does some things decently, some poorly, and none particularly well. The combat is cribbed from Labyrinth of Touhou and the time management plays out like a simplified Recettear, complete with weekly debts to pay off. Unfortunately, they don't fit together at all: the dungeon gives you more gold than you need to pay off your debts, buy all the items you want, and purchase a hefty helping of stat boosts (another thing cribbed from LoT) besides; meanwhile, the Stamina system, which is supposed to kick characters out of your party after they fight a certain number of battles, is rendered irrelevant by the clock, which advances with every battle and (once your characters have a few levels under their belts) kicks you out of the dungeon before any of them can leave. Also somewhat clunky and buggy, possibly because it was made in Ren'Py. I had important hotkeys fail to work, menus lag, and a waypoint fail to be added to the teleportation menu. Alternating between the keyboard for dungeon navigation and the mouse for everything else sucks. Also, the skill menu displays only a few skills at a time and can only be scrolled by dragging the mouse wheel, which is highly obnoxious if you're playing the Freelancer, who acquires approximately one trillion skills. The dungeon design is surprisingly decent, even if it doesn't do the things I usually look for in a DRPG. There's no sense of exploration or atmosphere; instead, most of the floors ask you to gather orbs and keys to unlock doors. A couple of puzzles use quirks of the system in really interesting ways. Weirdly, the side characters all have very professional-looking portraits but the main characters are amateurish. Not sure what was going on there. I found the story yawnworthy and have nothing to say about it. It took me a bit under seven hours to complete the story, fully explore the dungeon, and defeat the superboss, which is a pleasant length that fits the price. I'd like to play more short DRPGs like this.
