Interesting 2D game from Serious Sam universe. It is originally mobile game and this game is it's port. Cartoon graphics look good, music and sound effect are from original Serious Sam games, that is good touch. You play as beheaded kamikaze soldier, whos goal is to avoid obstacles and make kamikaze attack on Serious Sam. Secondary objectives (such as destroying tree trunks or cactuses, etc.) will render you bonus score. Game is simple and easy. Contains 40 levels, 20 per desert and jungle. First few levels was actually fun. But then it becomes highly repetitive. As someone here in reviews mentioned, there are in fact only 2 levels (desert and jungle), when each one of them repeats 20 times with slight variations and different secondary objectives. It is very shabby, every level takes you like one minute, so game is finished under one hour. And that is very dissapointing. I tried to stay possitive and consider it as minigame, but due to high repetitiveness I can't recommend it. If you are Serious Sam fan, it is must play, because it is part of universe. But still there is high chance you will not enjoy it. Overall, nice looking minigame from Serious Sam universe, that's really short and repetitive. Only from Serious Sam enjoyers! Not for other players. I wish I would recommend it, but I can't.
Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack is a lighthearted and surprisingly entertaining spin-off that takes one of the most recognizable enemies from the Serious Sam universe and places it in the starring role. Developed by Be-Rad Entertainment and published by Devolver Digital, the game abandons the series’ traditional first-person shooter formula in favor of a fast-paced side-scrolling endless runner. Instead of battling hordes of Kamikazes as Serious Sam, players become one of these screaming, bomb-carrying creatures and set out on a relentless pursuit of the legendary hero himself. The concept is simple, but it immediately gives the game a unique identity that separates it from both the main series and many other runner-style titles. The gameplay focuses on reflexes, timing, and constant movement. Players automatically sprint through a variety of stages filled with pits, obstacles, traps, and environmental hazards. Success depends on carefully timed jumps, double jumps, and kicks that clear the path ahead. While the controls are intentionally straightforward, the game steadily increases the challenge by introducing more complex obstacle arrangements and faster-paced sequences. This gradual difficulty curve keeps the experience engaging and rewards players who take the time to master the mechanics. One of the game's greatest strengths is how effectively it captures the humor and absurdity that have always defined the Serious Sam franchise. The idea of controlling a Kamikaze enemy, famous for charging toward players while screaming, creates countless amusing moments. The game embraces its ridiculous premise and never attempts to be anything more serious than a fun and energetic arcade experience. Fans of the franchise will recognize familiar enemies, references, and visual elements that help maintain a connection to the larger Serious Sam universe despite the dramatic shift in genre. The presentation contributes significantly to the overall appeal. Rather than attempting to replicate the realistic environments of the main games, Kamikaze Attack adopts a colorful and stylized visual design that complements its arcade nature. Character animations are expressive, the environments are bright and varied, and the overall aesthetic helps the game feel lively from beginning to end. Although the stages are relatively simple compared to modern platformers, the visual style ensures that the experience remains visually appealing throughout its short campaign. Replay value comes from more than simply reaching the finish line. The game includes various objectives, score-chasing opportunities, unlockable modifiers, and endless gameplay options that encourage repeated runs. Players can return to stages to improve their performance, complete additional challenges, and experiment with different gameplay conditions. These additions provide extra motivation for completionists and competitive players who enjoy pushing their skills further after finishing the main content. However, the game's simplicity can also become its biggest limitation. While the mechanics are polished and accessible, they do not evolve dramatically over time. The core loop remains largely unchanged throughout the adventure, and players looking for deep progression systems or extensive gameplay variety may find the experience somewhat repetitive. The title works best in shorter play sessions where its fast-paced action and humor can shine without overstaying their welcome. Despite these limitations, Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack succeeds at what it sets out to accomplish. It transforms a memorable enemy into an entertaining protagonist while delivering a charming arcade experience that remains faithful to the franchise's personality. The game never tries to compete with the larger Serious Sam entries and instead focuses on providing a compact, humorous, and accessible adventure that is easy to pick up and enjoy. For fans of endless runners and longtime followers of the Serious Sam series, it offers a refreshing perspective on a familiar world and plenty of entertaining moments along the way. Rating: 7/10

A totally pointless mobile-style game that's only worth playing if you are a Serious Sam completionist or want to finish some easy achievements. I assume it exists as part of a contractual obligation since it's heartlessly simplistic and careless in its overall design, though not broken. You only jump and attack in this auto-runner game, and if you time it you can jump over every obstacle and render the entire game pointless, which isn't as to do hard as it should be. It's still a fun concept and not at all frustrating.
