It is genuinely mind-blowing that Sensory Overload was built by a single developer. From the moment you start your first run, the game pulls you into a high-octane flow state that is impossible to step away from.
Great music and tutorial that eases you into wanted to try more levels. But then you do try out the other levels and realize 30% are relaxing, mesmerizing, and re-playable while the other majority turns it into a first-person like bullet hell that leaves you running back to the safety and simplicity of the first levels. Be prepared to get upset and say "Thanks for completely changing the pattern right at the end of the level" and mild frustration when a 3d moving shape take up 90% of the path and makes you memorize which corner is safe. Regardless of that opinion, the levels out now are well polished and show dedication put into them and I enjoy the odd silence in my head when I can let go of the outside world and focus solely on the pretty colors/patterns. I love the idea of the community section and believe it will only bring more entertainment going forward, did I mention the hype you feel when you're on a roll and the patterns start changing colors to the beat, salt aside I wish we had more songs to jam out on! TLDR: Game is exactly as the description entails and the price is solid for what it has to offer, I only wish I had the technique down to enjoy all aspects of the game and not just the easy parts (skill issue)

Fun and addictive. Its a bit like Trackmania, where you get into a pure flow state and quickly start memorizing the tracks. I've been switching back and forth with my 8 year old son and seeing who can get further, and its great. We always want another go!

Super Fun
Brain blasted form all angles. I have come out as a new man.
It's rare for a game to have a mechanic I can use to rage that also makes me better at the game, the boost is that thing, allowing me to speed through the level after I failed a promising run. I am loving it so far and can honestly recommend.
This game is really good. The dizzying mechanics are intended parts of the game, and if you don't like them, play something else.
I'm good at the game bro trust - I was the top 1 player for 20 seconds
It pleases the 'tisms.
