About
WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL
35 of your classmates were murdered. Law enforcement's response was to cover everything up. Not a single living soul could tell you the whole story, so you decide to find out for yourself.
Take on the role of Amanda, an aspiring podcaster who yearns for a good story- something to really get some people tuning in. You break into your own high school to investigate, finding the truth behind the murders and uncovering that the truth is far more sinister than you could've ever imagined.
Be aware at all times. With limited movement options, you'll have to decide when's best to make your move. It will hear you.
Plan ahead. Unlock various shortcuts and hidden pathways in the school to assist you in navigating throughout. Be sure of your route in order to avoid any unwanted encounters.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Dive into a full, fleshed out psychological horror experience. Senior Sunset offers a linear story with gameplay that can vary between cautious, slow, and calculated & intense and fast-paced.
Beware of him. A constant, looming threat is ever-present throughout your descent into the school. It will do everything in its power to hunt you down. With its advanced detection & reactive capabilities, nowhere is safe for long.
The school is a dark, detailed location packed full of places to explore. Slowly unlock different rooms and halls as you journey through with little to no navigational assistance.

I think this game was fine, it was a good enough experience that felt worth going through, but with it came some complaints that should be hopefully addressed, first and foremost is the flashlight usability, I think that the flashlight mechanic shouldn't be tied to weather you have your backpack equipped or not, there were times where running from the main monster in the game was the only option and it felt near impossible to run properly because of how incredibly dark the main school is, not having the ability to use your flashlight to navigate properly is such an odd design choice/oversight. Secondly, the way the main monster spawns in is downright unfair, there would be times where i would be searching for the next key/recording and the monster would spawn directly in front of me, no chance to run away or anything, just instant death for what feels like just pure bad luck. Next, the walking speed in the game is abysmal, it gets frustrating having to walk at a snails pace the entire map, which on its own is already confusing (and dark as mentioned before), having such slow speeds when equipped with the backpack just feels unfun, this doesn't go well with the fact that you essentially NEED the backpack equipped at almost all times,it truly just felt like a chore at times to get through the game. Additionally, probably my smallest complaint is the fact that reading notes in the game was just not an option at times, whenever you access your backpack to read notes (essentially the lore in-game), the game does not pause AT ALL, you are at the mercy of the main monster if you decide to open the notes to read them. And finally, another small complaint, the inability to save your game at any point is just not good design, even if it is a relatively short game, its still an odd choice to NOT include something so essential, you are forced to chug through the entire game in one sitting if you want to finish it. Overall, I truly do see potential and think its fine, with a few tidy ups here and there I could even recommend this as a quick fun game to stream to friends, but in its current state, there's just so many things that didn't sit right with me personally.

No one’s paying attention, so here’s the truth: I am very much bitchless
It was okay. I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do to avoid the monster-if you see it you're already dead. The vent noises didn't seem to have any pattern to help you avoid the monster. Death isn't that big a deal though, you just respawn in one location and keep any progress/items you've made. It can actually get you through the game faster by getting you back closer to the next area to unlock.
I absolutely loved this game took me a bit over an 2 hours to finish but with the new update should only be maybe 1 or so game looks great feels great great story and fun monster/killer I have uploaded the video to my channel @jxeljay if you'd like to watch it otherwise it's free so try it for yourself won't be disappointed
An insane accomplishment that this project has come together from so few people. The developer is incredibly talented and every person who helped on this game as well. It's obvious that there was care and intention behind every decision and I would absolutely recommend giving it a play. The environment is beautiful and eerie and it all comes together to make a perfect atmosphere. Putting the amazing aesthetics aside, the story is compelling and meaningful. I loved playing this, thank you for putting this awesome game out into the world! -Kitty :3
This game is unexpectedly great. Although some parts were obnoxious and repetitive the story was great. Wish thered be more games like this
This was one of the best free horror games I've played in a while- and honestly, one of the most well put-together indie horror in some time. The games look great, sounds great (the voice acting is surprisingly great), and "dying" is actually pretty forgiving. If I had one qualm at all, it's that the game seems to need to be beaten in a single sitting. While it's not a long game, there's no way to save to come back to the game. There's no way I couldn't recommend this game, though. It's a fantastic game with a couple of missteps but well worth checking out.
Excellent Game. Scary yet not overwhelmingly. I loved the game. It was smooth and very well made.
