Senatus

I’m a big fan of Ancient Rome, and I’ve always wanted more games focused on the political side of Rome instead of just wars and battles. Seeing a game set in the Roman Republic was a really nice suprise. Senatus looks simple at first, but it’s much deeper than it seems. Building your deck and preparing your debates makes every decision realy important I also loved the inspiration from Tetra Master in Final Fantasy IX. As a fan of the game, it brought back a lot of nostalgia. Senatus is more accessible, while keeping that feeling of planning your moves and outsmarting your opponent.

Game is fun. The walking around was a bit confusing, but it is necessary to learn where what kind of senators there are at specific spots. I found the game a bit easy once you figure things out. And thus a bit short: but it is only 5€ Cheaper than a cinemeticket!

fun game~! I liked how easy it is to understand once you actually get it, after a couple of matches, I was able to win more easily than at first~ also, beautiful pixel art!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eypgePxLsU0 Lo recomiendo. Me ha gustado bastante; lo único a remarcar es que ojalá le metáis más contenido. Incluso que ampliéis a decisiones en el Senado estaría bastante guay. Pero me gusta lo que tiene. Aunque es cierto que en 2 horas he llegado a Consul.

Shallow and repetitive. I didn't feel like I was playing a character with an identity or had any political ideology. Roman politics barely played into it, which was a shame as a roman history buff
