SEGA Bass Fishing

Why did SEGA remove this from the store! it's such a fun game, oh you thought fishing was RELAXING??? Well guess what? IT'S NOT! It's a COMPETITION and you need to LOWER THE ROD and get A BIG ONE. The dreamcast graphics are great, love the water, and it runs well on linux, no adjustments needed in my experince (thanks proton). Only thing it's missing is a playable Big the cat.

A simple arcade fishing game that still captures the fun of chasing the perfect catch. The controls are easy to learn, but timing your hook sets and managing line tension keeps things engaging. Its arcade roots make it feel fast-paced compared to more realistic fishing games. Short on depth, but great for quick sessions and a dose of nostalgia.

A simple but entertaining arcade classic that trades realism for fast-paced gameplay. Great for quick sessions, but limited in long-term appeal. Sega Bass Fishing is a game that contains the spirit of late-90s arcade design: simple, flashy, and instantly fun. A good gateway game into other fishing titles. Hopefully, one day, Sega returns to Steam and releases other Dreamcast titles like SEGA Bass Fishing 2 & Marine Fishing as well. Great on Steam Deck.
