From the developer that brought us The ER: Patient Typhon, this game has a series of stories, each with their own ways of solving, as what works in one, it won't apply to the other. Where you play a security guard that deals with anything but the ordinary in a Hospital.
I really wanted to like this game, but just couldn't get into it. Stuck in the loop of cameras, run to problem, fight problem, run to cameras, run to problem, etc. It just felt tedious and I wasn't sure if I was even doing anything. I don't think the game is bad, and I'm hesitant to rate it that way, but it wasn't for me. My chat and I were just confused and opted to play something else. Really like the art style and vibes though. So it's getting a soft thumb's down. Wish there were a medium option.
Pretty good, but it's a pretty slow burn kind of game. The gameplay flow is 'very' slow and fairly repetitive. There is a lot of back and forth between investigating events, and walking back to the camera room each time to watch for new issues. Sometimes the elevator goes out as well, which makes travel even slower. Most of the levels are pretty fun though, cute little story ideas, with only a few feeling like they overstay their welcome. Most of the latter are in the dlc levels. The 'fan idea' one with the cultist sacrificing to a circle is the worst of the bunch. Far too long, with way too many elements, like bs traps that seem unrelated to the task at hand that can end your run midway, and no, checkpoints don't exist. The final level in the base game is also kind of meh. Neat idea, but ridiculously slow. It's not even hard, just slow as molasses. These bad moments were few and far between though, so overall I still recommend the game for the enjoyable little survival stories and weird scenarios, if you're ok with a very slow gameplay loop. If I had to pick a favorite story, probably the 'parasite' one with the weird plant.
Loved this game. Each story was a lot of fun, although the flashlight/running direction mechanic caused some deaths. If you like 80s/90s horror movies and pulp, this is the game for you. Just point your flashlight and say HEY! My favorite story is the Thing. If you know, you know!
Get this game right the heck now it's super cheap it has two free DLCs of content and it's WAAAAAY worth the price. As for my favourite story... I guess I'm partial to the creature collection section just for how out of nowhere it is, but story wise I guess I really liked the ghost band one, very charming ending.
