Chill game with chill vibes, nice art & nice music. Feelsgoodman. Made before DEI ruined everything. It's interesting to note that conventionally attractive women with cleavage are fine in a game intended for a female audience, despite that sort of thing being "controversial" in games intended for a male audience. The game punishes you for choosing easy mode by spamming you with a reminder that you can use the hint button every 5 minutes.
Nice :)
A short n' simple HOG. Nothing grand, but no bs puzzles either.
Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island is a relaxed, story-driven hidden-object adventure that leans into classic point-and-click traditions while emphasizing atmosphere and accessibility over mechanical complexity. Developed and published by Frogwares, the game follows Chanel Flores, a renowned scientist whose routine flight turns into a survival mystery after a strange electrical storm forces her to parachute into an uncharted island within the Bermuda Triangle. From the outset, the experience frames itself as a methodical journey of discovery, inviting players to slowly unravel both the island’s geography and its buried past rather than rushing them through high-stakes drama or intense challenges. The gameplay loop blends exploration, hidden-object scenes, and light puzzle solving in a steady, linear progression. Each new area introduces richly illustrated environments where players search for specific items, many of which are later used to solve inventory-based puzzles or unlock new locations. These sequences are interspersed with self-contained mini-games that range from simple logic challenges to pattern-matching and mechanical alignment tasks. None of these puzzles are particularly demanding, but their variety helps prevent the experience from becoming monotonous, and optional hints or skip options ensure that progress never stalls for long. The overall design prioritizes flow and comfort, making it easy to settle into a calm rhythm of searching, solving, and moving forward. Exploration plays a central role in shaping the game’s tone. The island is divided into interconnected locations—jungles, ruins, waterways, and abandoned camps—that gradually open up as objectives are completed. A built-in map tracks available areas and pending tasks, reducing frustration and reinforcing the sense that the island is a cohesive space rather than a series of disconnected screens. This structure encourages players to absorb the scenery and context of each location, reinforcing the feeling of being stranded in a place shaped by both nature and forgotten human presence. Narratively, the game tells two parallel stories. Chanel’s attempt to escape the island provides the immediate motivation, while a secondary storyline reveals the tragic history of a shipwrecked captain and his connection to the island’s past inhabitants. This layered approach adds emotional texture to the mystery, even if the storytelling remains understated. Rather than relying on lengthy dialogue or dramatic twists, the narrative unfolds through environmental details, short cutscenes, and discoveries made during exploration. The result is a story that feels gentle and familiar, prioritizing mood over surprise, and offering a sense of closure rather than lingering ambiguity. Visually, Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island is one of the game’s strongest aspects. The hand-painted environments are detailed and vibrant, with enough visual density to make hidden-object scenes engaging without feeling cluttered or unfair. Each area has its own color palette and atmosphere, helping distinguish locations and maintain visual interest across the adventure. Audio design complements this presentation with ambient soundscapes and subtle musical cues that support immersion without demanding attention, reinforcing the calm, exploratory nature of the experience. Difficulty options further emphasize accessibility. Players can choose a more guided mode with generous hints or a slightly more restrained setting that reduces assistance, but neither approach introduces significant pressure. There are no timers, harsh penalties, or fail states, making the game particularly welcoming to newcomers to the genre or players seeking a low-stress experience. This design philosophy ensures that the focus remains on observation and curiosity rather than reflexes or memorization. While the game is polished and cohesive, it does not attempt to reinvent the hidden-object genre. Puzzle types and story beats will feel familiar to seasoned players, and the narrative does not push beyond established adventure tropes. For some, this predictability may limit long-term memorability, especially when compared to more ambitious or experimental mystery games. However, this restraint is also part of its appeal, as it delivers exactly what it promises without unnecessary complications or tonal shifts. Ultimately, Secret Mission: The Forgotten Island succeeds as a dependable and thoughtfully constructed hidden-object adventure. It offers a satisfying blend of exploration, light puzzles, and atmospheric storytelling, wrapped in a visually appealing island setting that invites steady engagement. While it may not surprise players with bold innovations or deep narrative complexity, it provides a comfortable, well-paced experience that rewards patience and curiosity. For fans of casual adventure games who value mood, clarity, and a gentle sense of mystery, it stands as a solid and enjoyable journey from start to finish. Rating: 6/10
Не плохая игра в жанре поиска предметов. Проходится за час, не успевает надоесть, вполне играбельна на сегодняшний день.
굉장히 쉬운 숨은 그림 찾기, 쉬운 퍼즐
