I'm not categorically against the use of AI - but when the sole gameplay consists of looking at images closely and examining every detail, you can't ignore the whole mess the AI made. Also there are 80 levels but some images get recycled so less would have been more, I think. Thankfully it was fast and easy to click through as it's obviously a game for kids - so my completionist self got a kind of satisfaction at least but it was no fun, I just wanted to get it over with. Even though it's cheap I just can't recommend it.
Ein super niedliches Find the difference Spiel. :'D
I cannot recommend this game at all. All the pictures used are AI generated and the differences are really repetitive. After 5 levels you know at what differences to look and the rest of the game is not even fun at that point anymore. It is in no way even worth any money.
"SeaQuest Find the Difference" is a construction kit game. The Russian "developer" used the mediocre (edit: Godot) video game construction kit, copying a basic game template and populating it with AI slop. Basically an "asset flip", but with AI slop generated images instead of assets stolen from someone else... this is WORSE than asset flipping. This isn't a sincerely made game, it was slapped together quickly as a minimum viable product... a hopeless cash grab made for one reason: To generate Steam Keys in bulk for crap random game bundles, just to get a few roubles for polluting Steam with trash. The developer has started polluting Steam with dozens of these AI crapfests, all copy + pastes of the same template, and uses an identical MO to Cute Hannah/Blender Games/Quantum Quiver, shoving as much garbage onto Steam as possible in a desperate, toxic cash grab. AI slop games like "SeaQuest" have no serious value for gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static AI Slop images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? "SeaQuest Find the Difference" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

Developer Response!
The developer has weighed in to inform everyone they didn't read the Developer Usage Rules for Steam "partners", or they deliberately ignored the part where Valve says:
Though it may be tempting, not every review needs to be responded to. A developer response will frequently draw more attention than the original statement, potentially turning a small issue into a much larger community discussion. It's also not a good idea to use this feature to refute customer opinions. Your direct attention can be seen as validation or a defensive attempt to silence your customers.
The developer decides that lying and misleading gamers by lying in this breach of Valve guidelines is the best way to scam PC gamers out of cash... The store page clearly warns gamers, as developers are required to do, that the game is made with disgusting AI Slop!!! You can see the developer telling outright lies... yet another reason not to give any money to these scammers. Nothing in the developers pointless breach of Valve guidelines changes any of the objective facts of my review. My review stands unaltered. I cannot recommend this disgusting AI slop to anyone.
If you want to be frustrated and don't want your child to talk back to you then buy this game. I am a grown man and with this game I had problems to find the mismatched parts. Because some elements are microscopic or are 2 millimeters run away. There are four hints for the whole game. Clicking on all the elements does not help because the game does not complete the found element. You need to know exactly where the element is, but how are you supposed to know when the elements are too small or cut off by 2 millimeters.
Oi, meu nome é Fellipe e me senti ofendido jogando esse jogo.
