Cozy Strawberry had unlocked my inner child I never knew I still had and I love them for it. Wholesome voice acting, wholesome characters, wholesome puzzles, and wholesome creativity. You can't have a more charitable game than this one. If the voice acting is any indication of what the dev is like in real life, then I wish I could meet them. They seem like a sweet person.
Appeal to reading age kids : Covering the learning bases.
The Good

There is a lot of reading, perhaps too much IMHO, but that's the reading skills covered.
Basically you are a sorbet cone butterfly-fairy in a 2D maze, that's the spatial and memory skills covered.
You must assist various people with trivial tasks, and rescue your turtle friend, that's the empathy skills covered.
Some rooms are point and click solvers, that's the visual skills covered.
Some rooms, actually quite a few are freeform decoration scatters, that's the creativity skills waxed.
Some tasks have rewards that unlock rooms, that's the co-operation skill covered.

Not Good
Some of the dialog is actually quite fun and meaningful, but some of it makes me question the target age. Use of advanced vocabulary might break it for many children. Not sure why dialog is spelled with UK spelling when most of audience will not be speaking the Kings English. It's pink - I get the trying to get girls to play games bit, but I'm not sure that girls are all that into pink these days. Not enough accomplishments. i know that's not the aim these days, but to really hook kids, you want actual hidden things to find, and accomplishment "ka-ching" triggers.
Cute
It's really cute, I kinda got distracted re-decorating the rooms. I can see how some kids will get engrossed for hours and days, even weeks just memorising the map and then starting a fresh game and repeatedly decorating every room differently according to mood and then calling granny to look or asking their carer to send a photo to granny of their art. (Perhaps an integration to share screenshots to Facenook or Gran's reddit account (is gran on reddit for the cat pics already?) without going via the steam Screenshot thing in Steam might be cool.)

A surprisingly sinister experience with sentient sorbet, ghastly ghosts and a very wicked witch. You are tasked with the challenge of saving your one and only friend Chippy from the horrible fate of expiring deep in a hole while lying helplessly on his back. You must find a way to save him and in your efforts you will be forced to enter and search through the halls of the possibly life-ending Seaberry Keep. Do not let the decor deceive you for this is an endeavor that will test every fiber of your very being. May the tides ever be in your favor and the grasses always greener in your pastures as you plunge head first into hot pink Hell.
A whimsical waltz through the mysterious Seaberry Castle! Recommend enjoying on a rainy day with a mug of hot tea.
A sweet, strange and memorable little adventure with genuine care behind it. It's like being told a stream-of-consciousness bedtime story by a very imaginative story-teller. I loved the creative flourish in the scenes that let you decorate your room and garden.
So cute <3
I was gifted this game to check out on stream. Seaberry Keep is a cute visual novel with Point-and-Click exploration and several minigames (like a very easy hidden object games and room decoration/dress-up minigames). The game is almost completely voice acted, so very little reading is needed for the game, except for a couple dialogue choices. Seaberry Keep is very clearly targeted at young children, and I could see young kids having a fair bit of fun with the characters and minigames. The game ranges from about 20 minutes in length to over an hour (if you mess around in the rooms and minigames). I'm sure young kids could play longer if they enjoy the decoration minigames. If you're an adult, this game is probably not for you, unless you want to enjoy it ironically. This game was a blast to stream to an audience as there was a lot of material to joke about, but there aren't really any jokes in the game dialogue itself. So in summary, I recommend this game for kids, but not for most adults. Also worth noting, I presume this game was made by a young developer, as the playtester is listed as their mom. Always inspiring to see young people passionately making games and am definitely eager to see them develop more in the future! Thanks for the game key!
This game is soo cute and fun. I hope that Chippy can be saved.
Great game for little kids. Takes about 15 minutes. Cute voice acting.
