Sea of Change

Appreciate this is a small game but there just isn't much there and what is there is glitchy and frustratingly implemented. It's been out for a month and none of this has been addressed, not a single patch. Bad UI, poor controls, apparently very shallow gameplay loop (not excusable as relaxing/casual) and things such as simply sailing the boat results in the boat vanishing or glitching to a static rotation. I'd also question the swathe of first time reviews giving this a positive rating. Nearly all of which have considerably less than 1 hour of game time (so the game is so good you played for 10 minutes?). One appears to be the developer. Many are from India so are probably friends of the developer and knocked up a quick account to exploit the steam review scores. Shady shady.

Sea of Change is a fun mix of exploring and defending your base. You sail to new islands, gather resources, and protect your base from enemies. A must-play for fans of strategy and exploration!

Its a fun game to play when you just want a chilled out arcade type of game. The music adds to the fun environment and the tiny boat is super fun to roam around in. Enjoyed it while I waited at the airport for my delayed flight...

I'd say its a mashup of Thronefall and Rogue Tower, nice 1st game for a solo developer, do support! 8/10 (cute game)!

The game is easy to play and addictive. You keep mining for coins for hours.

First off, this is a fun game. The music is nice to listen to while sailing and it scales up very well to the night combat. Battling other ships feels very rewarding and setting up your base is a fun goal. A couple of recommendations- make the islands a bit easier to find and maybe have the trees drop more gold? I think this would make the loop very fun.

What a new and fresh game! Played it between work & between study, during breaks and enjoyed my time. I'm a regular Autumn Arcade mobile game user and glad they've also started building PC games! Wish you guys the best!

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I can't see any reason why someone would be interested in this game. There's little instructions in how to play the game - which would be fine if the gameplay was self-explanatory. It is not. After defending an island a couple times and building a couple buildings, I was directed to explore the seas. There is literally nothing in the seas, and no map or indicator for anything other than a compass directing me back to the island I just left. Sailing too far downwards seems to glitch out the game for me, with the avatar getting on and back off his boat again in the water. The graphics are beautiful and smooth, but that's all I can say that is good about this game. Thumbs down.

It's a simple, fun and easy to play arcade game. I loved the concept, the artwork is amazing and the game play is simple as well. This is something I'd play whenever I'm bored at work i.e. a perfect distraction to uplift your mood!! I have a suggestion - Can you add more character choices with different powers like shooting an arrow or something and have the trees drop more gold?
