linux game play very good cant save game but excelent for creativity junkyard twisterbox

-too laggy -crashes every 15 minutes

not what I want to play

This game has soo much potential but i just feel that the developers have focused on the wrong things and we have waited so long for a game which has had the wrong things worked on them. We kept getting told of delays because of translations but if they had spent less time trying to get it in multiple languages and more time in just getting the movement mechanics feeling good it would have been time better spent. I had severe motion sickness when it first started until i found the setting to turn head bob off. It felt like everything was surrounded by an invisible wall and i couldnt walk in some areas and couldnt get up close to other items. Radio was annoying and was instantly turned off however this was only after i noticed that the game was trying to play 3 different songs at the same time. The game mechanics are not well explained as i have no idea why the overhead map kept getting static and other areas were fine. A simple map would also be great as i spent most of the play time lost and continually walking into invisible barriers. As said before the game has great potential and this is just a taste of the full game but im hoping we have our own junkyard to run and upgrade and its not just buildings separated by huge drives from one place to another. Also i was hoping for perhaps a sense of humour nothing over the top or crazy like Barn Finders but just something that adds a little flavour to the world but nothing that was shows in the teaser. I did notice that in the controls there was mention of beer and farting but seriously. The world seemed lifeless as well i did see a bird or at least i think it was a bird as it was pretty horrible graphically kind of a mix between a duck and a lump of wood. Apart from that there has been a lot of detail added to other parts of the game and the world is huge and i could see a possibilty of finding some real lost treasures hopefully without the rushing with a countdown. I found a sea container which i thought would be fun to explore and then all of a sudden there was a counter and it turned into a mad scramble of throwing things everywhere and hoping i could find anything of value. Speaking of throwing... why are we throwing balls in a junkyard... ?? Driving is terrible but im assuming its just a few glitches, i loaded up the truck got in and turned off the hand brake all of a sudden the truck was in the air and the 5 items i found were scattered all over the place. And why cant we just have a free look camera why press a button to look left or right. If your going to make a simulator the develops should probably play a few of the good ones first. I would recommend the game but hopefully the full release is very different of maybe come back to it 6months after release to see if its better or the developers just gave up. But hey from what i hear it comes in a lot of languages.
