Goodbye Scraps, we love you
Although this game is no longer buy-able, it was fun to play. it sucks that this game is no longer updated, but I understand why. Rest in Peace, Scraps: Modular Vehicle Combat (2012-2023)
Thank you for this game, I used to play it on my old account, it was so fun. Thank you developer for keeping it alive for this long despite almost 0 players or sales, Scraps was my childhood, and I loved watching people play it. Goodbye old friend.

Congratulations on going gold Bill. I was a Kickstarter backer of this neat little game back in 2013 but just want to say kudos to you for not letting this go and finishing it, even if the journey wasn't what you had hoped. To anyone thinking of purchasing it, try the demo, the vehicle builder is neat and you can spend a fair few hours mucking around with that.

My experience with this small and very quaint game was truly memorable and honestly enjoyable, left me wanting more. A great little game with such promise but mournfully overshadowed by others of the genre... I truly would love to see this game grow and develop into something greater but I feel such sorrow seeing it at it's end. The mechanics are wonderful the gameplay great and memorable, it has little to no bugs at all and works great. The weapons are modeled great and are fun to enjoy toying with my thought is the Cannons feel like punching people. I would recommend this to my fellows to play and will before it sadly disappears.... I hope to you, The architect of this game, may be able to make a revision or some other project someday truly this is a game that not many know, but I am truly thankful I was able to find it... Good luck on your future endeavors, may they be fruitful, and May this game be remembered for its small yet enjoyable mechanics. I Salute its departure from the steam store with the honor of a Unsung Soldier. Sincerely, NuclearTankerion
I've only kickstarted two projects and this was one of them. The creator didn't screw me over at all (like moving over to Epic) and it became a very nice game.
it is awesome the only annoying thing is none play it
I got this in early access as it seemed like a Car-combat version of Kerbal space program. While technically that's true, it's missing the longevity of KSP, in that the single-player is basically repetetive, while the multiplayer would expect you to have an idea how the game works from the single-player. I played for about an hour in the single player mode, basically just using each level's winnings to add more guns to the car i had already built. This was quite fun, and the physics of the cars you can build is really detailed, if a bit simpler than KSP, but the truth is that endlessly driving over a generic mountain terrain, shooting 2 turrets, a drone and a car isn't really that fun for much longer than the hour I put in. Having said that, the soundtrack is very good, so that's nice! At £10, or $13 US, i don't know this is worth it, maybe at half the price, and if you have a couple of friends who want to try a tank version of KSP? I can't say the game is bad, it works well at what it tries to do, and is enjoyable enough, but it's just too easy to make something that works well for the single-player, and personally the multiplayer holds no attraction. I doubt i'll be playing much more.
great game sad to see it go so soon
